Dark Senate Transmigration mishaps (Disgaea Monstergirls TF)
🕑 Added 2025-03-12 22:55:01 +0000 UTC“Alright~ Done and done~ With that we have all the paperwork filed and handed in.” Etna, the chirp devil girl, clapped her hands together as she walked towards her accomplices “Now it's only a matter of if the dark senate approves our demands and BAM!”
“Or denies it.” Asagi shrugged, shaking her head. “I know how this procedure works. They deny it, we fight, we win, they approve, we get what we want.”
“Eyup~ Exactly!” Etna giggled. “Although I have a good feeling that they might just approve this one today.”
“Oh yeah. Hey Etna?” The angel girl asked.
“Whats up Flonne?” Etna returned with a slightly more deadpan expression, expecting something stupid to come out of her mouth.
“What did we even apply for? I think I missed that part…” Flonne asked, being as innocent as ever.
“Now that you say it, I don’t know either.” Asagi interjected, crossing her arms. “And you can’t possibly hold this a secret from the future protagonist, can you?”
“I wasn't holding anything a secret…” Etna lied as naturally as she breathed. Of course she didn't mention the plans of turning her allies into her minions to anyone, let alone the people she was trying to get. All she now had to do was sell it in a way where it's believable what she was doing. “Not much special, it is just a special new type of transmigration that they recently released. I was thinking of making myself more devilish, Asagi a bit stronger just in general and Flonne a bit more… uhm… angelly?”
“I like the sound of that!” Asagi grinned, nodding along.
“How does one make me more angelly?” Flonne giggled aloof, to which Etna shrugged.
“Hey don't ask me. They offered it and I literally only pressed a button.” She explained, trying to sound as genuine as she could. “It will be a surprise for all of us, that's for sure.”
“I love surprises!” Flonne bounced.
“Awfully kind of you.” Asagi looked at her with a sceptical smile. “But I guess with Laharl missing you feel like you need to step up your game too and try to find him again as fast as possible. Makes sense. A very Protag move to do.”
“Yeeeaaaaah. Eeeeeexaaaaactly.” Etna had no reason to deny it, but that conclusion could literally not be further from the truth. “Anyway, voting is about to start. Are you girls ready?”
And with that, the three girls walked into the hall, ready to see how the senate has decided their vote. As they went inside, Etna smirked to herself. If this worked, she’d finally have her own squad of perfect minions. They just didn’t know it yet.
—
“The result: 421 to 245! The bill passes!” the overseer declared. And the crew silently cheered. Etna in particular was very happy this worked so easily, as she was fully prepared to fight to get that bill through. But she was glad she didn't have to, as it was one less thing that could have gone wrong.
“That’s strange.” Flonne suddenly declared among all the cheers, to which Etna just had to sigh again.
“What is it, angel face?”
“I didn't see you bribe anyone.” Flonne continued not reading Etna's expression at all.
“That’s because I didn’t bribe anyone.” Etna answered nonchalantly. “Only Laharl has the key to the vault and he kinda isn't here. So there isn't much I could even bribe people with.”
“I see.” Flonne stared at Etna with her almost painfully innocent smile. “Then maybe the demons have changed for the better. After all, if they pass our bill with such a landslide advantage, then that must mean that they finally felt compassion and Love for us~”
Etna went silent. Wait, Flonne was right. Did she actually just get a Dark Assembly bill passed… without a single bribe? No fights? No threats? No demon demanding ten million HL and a backrub? That didn’t make sense.
The demons in this assembly most definitely didn't do this out of compassion. No, something was weird. Something was off. How could they have won by such a landslide? The request she handed in was way too selfish for them to just approve it without any kind of… huh?
Out of the corner of her eye, she saw it. She saw him. To anyone else it may only have looked like a little Prinny with a scarf, but Etna knew better. She knew who that was. What she couldn't figure out was… why was he here?
“The quadruple transmigration of the demons Laharl, Etna, Flonne and Asagi shall commence immediately.” the overseer announced, to which Etna's eyes went wide.
“WHAT?!?” She shouted, turning to the scarfed Prinny off to the side, who gave her a very smug look. This little–.
“I know right? I am not a demon.” Flonne also stood up from her seat, outraged. Well… as outraged as a Flonne could be I suppose.
Asagi just looked at both of them confused, having no clue what to even say or think about any of this. Meanwhile Flonne stomped her foot—well, more like lightly tapped it as she raised her hand. “I… uhm… demand you change it to three demons and one angel, please!”
Flonne looked at Etna expectantly, almost as if she was looking for getting praised. Etna just facepalmed, but then remembered that they had other problems.
“If you insist.” The overseer replied, raising her gavel. “May the demons Laharl, Asagi and Etna, as well as angel Flonne transmigrate into their requested greater form!”
“Wait!” Etna pleaded, trying to stop it. “I still have…”
BANG
A massive wave of energy blasted through the room, knocking the wind out of Etna's lunges. And moments later, her body dematerialized, alone with Flonne, Asagi and the smug scarfed Prinny in the corner of the room, as their essences got transported to the transmigration chamber.
And once they were there, Etna knew it was all over. There was no point in trying to move or flee. All she could do was hope that whatever was about to happen wasn't too bad…
Everything was dark for a moment. Then suddenly, Flonne started to be lifted up, as if floating in a void of swirling mana.
Then came the tingling.
“Huh?” Flonne murmured as a strange warmth spread through her arms, her fingers feeling oddly stiff. She tried to wiggle them, but instead of the familiar sensation of fingers flexing, she felt… pads?
She blinked.
Looking down at her hands, her eyes widened in surprise. The soft pink of her skin was fading, replaced by silky white fur creeping up from her wrists. Her fingers were shortening, her nails vanishing, and in their place, fluffy fox-like paws were forming.
“Oh, how cute!” Flonne gasped. Then realization hit her.
“Wait—AAAH! WHY DO I HAVE PAWS?!?”
She stumbled backward, her breath hitching as an odd pulling sensation spread through her legs. A ticklish, numbing feeling crawled from her thighs to her toes as her feet elongated, her heels lifting off the ground against her will. Her sandals clattered to the floor as her toes merged together, soft fur racing over them, forming hind paws tipped with delicate white claws.
Flonne wobbled unsteadily, the shape of her legs subtly adjusting to accommodate her new digitigrade stance.
“Eeep! My feet feel so weird!” she squeaked, trying to balance, only to feel something brush against her back.
“Hey Etna? Is this supposed to happen…?” She tried to speak up as a sudden pressure built at the base of her spine. And then…
FWOOMPH!
A long, luxurious fox tail burst out from behind her, swaying lazily.
“W-Wha—?!” Flonne yelped, reaching back to grab at it.
But the moment she did, another wave of pressure struck.
FWOOMPH! Another tail.
FWOOMPH! And another.
FWOOMPH! Then another!
Flonne let out a startled squeal as one by one, tails sprouted from her back, each fluffier than the last. They flicked and curled, moving entirely on their own, until all nine were fully grown, waving behind her in perfect synchronization.
Her entire body shuddered as a strange calmness overtook her. The initial panic faded, replaced by an odd serene feeling, as if she had suddenly become much, much wiser than before. Then…
POOF!
A wooden pipe materialized out of thin air, dropping neatly into her newly formed paw.
“…Huh?” Flonne blinked at it, tilting her head.
She had never smoked a pipe before in her life. It was uncalled for, unnecessary, and completely random…
And yet…
A strange urge filled her chest.
She lifted the pipe to her lips, her other paw floating up with an elegant, graceful motion she had never used before.
With a soft exhale, a small wisp of mystical blue smoke curled from the tip of the pipe. It swirled around her body, giving her a slightly ethereal glow.
“Oh my! This feels… so… relaxing~” Flonne sighed dreamily. She didn’t even remember floating, but suddenly, her feet were no longer touching the ground.
She hovered effortlessly, her nine tails swaying behind her, her golden eyes glowing faintly with a newfound otherworldly aura.
Etna, watching from the side, clapped her hands together, grinning ear to ear. “That went about as perfect as it could have,” she whispered to herself, shooting a glance at the scarfed Prinny would looked genuinely impressed by what just happened to the angel girl. “Flonne transformed just as I requested… but why the hell am I here?! I definitely only submitted a request for those two idiots to transmigrate! Ugh. This has Laharl’s smug little mitts all over it, I just know it.”
Asagi barely had time to process what had happened to Flonne before a chill ran down her spine. She shuddered, a strange tingling sensation creeping over her skin, like the ghostly touch of someone pulling at her very essence.
“H-Hey… what the hell? Why do I feel weird?” Asagi muttered, rubbing her arms.
Then, before her eyes, her fingertips darkened, the color fading into a deep, unnatural blue.
Her breath hitched as the blue spread up her arms, like ink soaking into paper, shifting her skin tone into something otherworldly and distinctly… demonic.
“Wait—WAIT! Am I turning into a freaking demon?!” she yelped, stepping back.
But the changes weren’t stopping there.
Her ears twitched. Then they stretched.
“H-Huh?” She reached up as her ears elongated, growing sharper, longer, curving into elegant pointed tips, distinctly inhuman.
Then came her hair, a sudden whooshing feeling as her locks grew out wildly, twisting and tangling, flowing down her back and splitting into two thick, messy twintails.
Asagi’s heart raced.
“What the hell is happening to me?!”
And then, her clothes betrayed her.
With an unceremonious POOF!, her outfit completely shifted.
Her usual battle attire morphed, melting into frilly, silky fabric, reshaping itself into something… embarrassingly maid-like.
A short black dress with white frills, an apron wrapping neatly around her waist, and, much to her horror, a dainty little maid headband poofed onto her head.
“What the…?! No. NO. This is NOT happening!” Asagi furiously yanked at the headband, only for it to magically stick back onto her head like it was part of her soul.
Then, the final change hit her.
Something inside her snapped into place—an overwhelming, inexplicable urge flooding her brain.
Asagi stood up straight.
Her hands folded neatly in front of her.
Her posture became perfect.
Her expression calmed into something oddly welcoming.
She tried to scream. She tried to curse. She tried to do anything to resist this feeling.
But instead, the words that came out of her mouth were:
“How may I serve you, Master?”
Her eyes widened in horror as her own voice betrayed her.
“Wh—what?! No, I didn’t mean to say that! W-Wait, why am I bowing? Why am I smiling?! Why do I feel like I should be holding a tray?!”
She grabbed at her own face, trying to force a scowl, but the moment she let go, her features automatically reset into a gentle, welcoming expression. It was like that pleasant smile was her default expression now.
“Oh no. No no no no. I refuse. I REFUSE!” Asagi stomped a foot down… only to instinctively curtsy.
Etna, watching this from the sidelines, was barely containing her laughter.“Oh-ho-ho~! That’s exactly what I was hoping for!”
She grinned ear to ear, absolutely thrilled by the results. Asagi, however, was less than pleased. She clenched her fists, visibly shaking, before pointing accusingly at Etna.
“YOU! YOU DID THIS! I JUST KNOW YOU DID THIS!”
Etna shrugged innocently. “I mean, I may have suggested it~.”
“FIX IT!”
“Ehhh, nah~.”
Asagi’s eye twitched. “I swear… I’m going to ki—”
“Serve me for eternity, riiiiiiiiight?” Etna teased with a big smirk on her face. But before Asagi even had a chance to think about how to respond, her body reflexively straightened again, her voice turning soft and professional.
“Oh dear, please forgive my rudeness, Master.” She bowed politely.
Asagi froze, her soul breaking inside.
“...This is my worst nightmare.”
“It do be quite the dream for me tho~” Etna laughed, not even hiding her amusement anymore. “Although…”
“Not for long, dood~” The scarfed Prinny spoke up, now starting to glow like Flonne and Asagi had before. It stepped forward, its grin massive.
“I knew it!” Etna sighed knowingly, turning towards the glowing Prinny. “I knew you rigged this! What did you do?”
The Prinny smirked. “Tch. Of course I did.” His voice carried an unmistakable familiar arrogance now. “You think you’re the only one who can pull this trick? Please. You did this exact same thing to me. Otherwise I wouldn’t look like… this!”
Etna’s heart skipped a beat. “Oh… crap.”
Flonne blinked. “Etna turned you into a Prinny?”
“Yup.” The Prinny grinned wider as his body began to shift. “A little ‘punishment’ scheme she cooked up. But two can play that game.”
A deep rumbling filled the space as Laharl’s small, round body began to distort. His stubby flippers stretched outward, his arms lengthening, fingers splitting apart, clawed and distinctly demon-like once more.
The roundness of his Prinny form melted away, his torso expanding, his legs elongating, until his familiar silhouette returned.
The scarf unraveled, twisting back into his flowing red cape, now resting dramatically over his shoulders. His flippers reshaped into clawed hands, his legs snapping back into their usual shape, feet planting firmly on the ground once more.
A sudden burst of wind sent a ripple through the chamber as his horned, spiky blue hair exploded outward, reclaiming its gravity-defying, over-the-top flair.
Laharl grinned triumphantly, rolling his shoulders. “Hah! Feels good to be back.”
Etna, still trying to process this, narrowed her eyes. “So let me get this straight. You knew what I was doing, bribed the Senate, and slipped in extra transmigration requests?”
Laharl cracked his neck, his smirk widening. “Yup.”
Etna groaned. “You really don’t know when to let things go, huh?”
“Oh, I let things go,” Laharl said casually, dusting off his cape. “But only after I get even.”
Etna crossed her arms. “Alright, fine. I got you Flonne and Asagi. You got yourself back to normal. So what’s the other request?”
Laharl’s grin turned devilish. “Oh, you’ll see.”
A second wave of glowing energy burst forth, but this time… it wasn’t targeting him.
Etna’s entire body stiffened. Slowly, she looked down at herself. The glow wasn’t fading. Her pupils shrunk. It never really sank in until now, but the fact that she was here in the transmigration chamber meant…
“Oh. Ohhhhhh crap.”
Laharl chuckled, folding his arms. “That’s right. I put in a second transformation request.”
Etna took a step back, laughing nervously. “Okaaaaay, okay. I might have had that coming.”
“Damn right you did.”
Flonne clapped her hands together. “Oh! I wonder what Etna will turn into~!”
Asagi, still fuming in her maid uniform, deadpanned. “If it’s anything like what happened to us, she deserves whatever’s coming.”
Etna swallowed hard. “Okay, okay, listen, Laharl! I get it!” She held up her hands in surrender. “I messed with you, and now you’re messing with me, but come oooon. Tell me you at least put in a reasonable—”
Laharl grinned ear to ear.
“Nah.”
The glow intensified. Etna’s face fell. “Oh son of a—”
That's when Etna’s entire body seized up as the glow around her intensified, wrapping around her limbs like an inescapable vice.
A sharp pressure shot through her feet, making her yelp as her toes numbed. The smooth skin of her soles hardened into thick keratin, her nails fusing together with a horrible crackling noise.
"Wh-What the hell?!" Etna yelped as her feet shifted, the shape compressing and warping until they molded into hooves.
She stumbled as the bones in her legs began to grind and stretch, her ankles lifting as her legs bent into a new digitigrade stance.
Dark fur erupted from her skin, creeping up her thighs and around her calves, stopping just below her waist.
Her balance felt off, her stance completely changed—as if she was standing on foreign legs.
And that was only the beginning.
A strange heat surged through her head.
Etna reached up, only to flinch as her ears began to elongate, stretching outward and downward.
They grew long and cow-like, floppier than before, twitching slightly as she tried—and failed—to move them normally.
“Oh, hell no,” she muttered, reaching up to grab one—only to freeze as a sudden stabbing pain hit her skull. “What did you do?!”
Then came the horns, answering her question instantly.
With a deep, bone-rattling crack, two sharp points burst through her scalp, curling upward as they rapidly expanded.
At first, they were just small stubs, but they didn’t stop growing.
They kept going.
And going.
And GOING.
“Oh, come on, come on, COME ON! STOP GROWING ALREADY!” Etna shouted in frustration, feeling the sheer weight of her new horns. They were MASSIVE, easily three times the size of her head, curling outward like a giant, monstrous fork.
She tried to balance, but their immense weight nearly sent her toppling over.
Laharl, watching smugly, grinned ear to ear. “Wow. Now that’s the kind of excess I was hoping for.”
Etna glared. “Are you turning me into an evil eye cow girl thingy?! You know that I hate…”
“Exactly.” Laharl stated flatly, his grin never waving.
Etnas frustration was short-lived, because the changes weren’t done yet.
She felt her arms pulse, her forearms thickening, her fingers tingling and stretching.
Then—CRACK.
Her fingers fused together, reshaping into broad, massive hoovelike digits, each several times bigger than her hands had been before.
Her grip strength was unreal—but her dexterity? Gone. Completely gone.
“You know, I have always been wondering: WHAT THE HELL IS ONE SUPPOSED TO DO WITH THESE?!” Etna shouted, trying to flex her massive new fingers, only for them to clumsily clack together like blunt clubs.
“Oh, don’t worry,” Laharl said, mockingly thoughtful. “I’m sure you’ll figure it out eventually.”
Etna growled—but that growl hitched as a strange pressure built in her thighs.
Her legs thickened, her thighs expanding, growing noticeably larger, her hips flaring out slightly to match the change.
She felt… heavy.
Her face burned as she realized just how much extra mass had been added to her lower half.
But just as she was about to scream at Laharl again—
Her chest tightened.
She gasped as a strange warmth pooled between her ribs, pressure mounting beneath her collarbone.
Then, with an almost gentle pulse, her breasts grew—rounding out to a respectable size.
Etna blinked, looking down.
“oh.” She cupped them, then squinted suspiciously at Laharl. “Okay, that is surprisingly nice from you.”
Laharl snorted. “Pfft. Don’t look at me like that! I didn’t plan that part, it just happened.”
“Yeah, sure it did,” Etna muttered, rolling her eyes. “I thought you were going to turn me into a titless cow to be honest...”
And then…
It got worse.
A sudden blink.
Not from her eyes—but from somewhere else.
Something opened on her chest.
Right between her breasts.
Etna froze.
Her breathing stopped.
And then—realization.
"Oh yeah, Evil Eyes have those, don’t they?"
A third eye, large and ominous, sat right on her chest, blinking lazily.
It swiveled in different directions, moving independently from her normal eyes, scanning her surroundings with an unnerving level of focus.
Etna felt its vision, felt everything it saw, like a second set of thoughts crawling into her brain.
“Okay, this is all sorts of weird.” She said, shuddering violently.
“Laharl.” Her voice was low, shaky, barely contained rage. “So that was your big plan? You turned me into a one-woman security camera cow.”
“More like an all-seeing demon cow working for the greatest overlord of all time,” Laharl corrected, smirking.
Etna gritted her teeth, already plotting murder, but then, just as she thought the transformation was finally over…
“Oh, right. I almost forgot.” Laharl crossed his arms.
Etna felt a chill crawl down her spine. “Forgot… what?”
“Well,” Laharl shrugged, “I did make sure to honor your wishes with this request.”
“…Huh?”
A strange warmth surged into her chest.
And then they grew.
Etna’s breath hitched as her already respectable breasts expanded, rounding out further, heavier, fuller—until they were each twice the size of her head. They settled with an almost uncomfortable weight, her hoovelike hands instinctively reaching up to grab them.
The moment she did, she felt it.
A deep, strange fullness.
Her eyes widened. “Wait. What. What the hell? WHY DO THEY FEEL SO—?!”
She clenched her massive, hooved fists, her face burning red. “LAHARL. WHAT DID YOU DO?”
Laharl grinned. “A favor, your deepest desire! You were the one always bragging about ‘quality over quantity,’ right? So I made sure to go all out and give your new form a trait I was sure you would loooove~”
Etna’s entire face turned crimson.
“You—”
Her third eye twitched violently.
Her hooves stomped down, cracking the ground.
Her horns curved slightly forward, as if preparing to ram something.
Laharl, still grinning, took a casual step back.
Flonne clapped excitedly. “Oh my! You look amazing, Etna!”
Asagi scoffed, still bitter about her own transformation. “Yeah, yeah. Real majestic, master.”
Etna, seething, took a deep breath. Then, with as much composure as she could muster, she exhaled.
“…Okay.” She rolled her shoulders, adjusting to the massive weight of her new body.
“You know what?” Etna narrowed her eyes at Laharl. “I deserved that.”
Laharl’s smirk widened. “Damn right you did.”
Etna cracked her knuckles, her hooves grinding into the floor.
“…But I’m still gonna kill you the next time I get the chance.”
Laharl just laughed, as the four of them were transported out of the transmigration chamber again, into more familiar territory…
—
Etna sat on a rock, arms crossed, her massive hooved fingers drumming against her thick thighs. Her third eye stared lazily at the sky while her normal ones were locked in a deep frown.
“This is BULLCRAP,” she muttered.
Asagi, sitting beside her, sighed. “What part specifically? The fact that we can’t change back, or that every time you try to fight Laharl, you just get your oversized demon butt handed to you?”
Etna’s horns twitched. “Hey, I almost got him last time.”
“No, you didn’t,” Asagi deadpanned. “He beat you in, like, two minutes.”
Etna huffed, folding her arms over her very full chest. “Yeah, well, we’ll figure something out. If brute force doesn’t work, then—”
“—you just punch harder?” Asagi finished.
Etna paused. She had been about to say exactly that.
“…Yeah?”
Asagi gave her a long look. “See, that’s what I mean. You used to be a schemer, Etna. A manipulator. You got stuff done by thinking first and fighting second. But lately? You’ve been all about the punching. No planning, no scheming… just pure musclehead nonsense.”
Etna snorted. “Tch. That’s not true.”
“Yes, it is.”
“No, it isn’t.”
“Yes, it is,” Asagi insisted. “I mean, come on, what have we actually done to turn back? We tried fighting Laharl — didn’t work. We tried calling another assembly — blocked. We tried ignoring it, hoping it would go away — also didn’t work.”
Etna grumbled but said nothing.
“And what was your plan after that?” Asagi pressed.
Etna shrugged. “Go fight something else?”
Asagi threw up her hands. “See?! That’s what I’m talking about! You’re a combat addict now! You barely even think about a way forward anymore! If plan A fails, you just punch plan A again until something gives.”
Etna growled, crossing her arms again. “That’s dumb.”
“It is dumb.”
“Then I’m not doing it.”
“You are doing it.”
“No, I’m—” Etna stopped.
Because, deep inside, something in her agreed.
Her thoughts had been so much simpler lately. Strategy? Too much effort. Thinking ahead? Why bother? Every time a problem came up, her first instinct was to smash it.
And, worst of all…
It felt good.
She liked not having to think so much. Liked leaving the complicated stuff to others. Liked being a strong, unstoppable brute.
Etna shook her head violently. No. No way. This transformation didn’t make her dumber.
…Right?
She stole a glance at Flonne, who sat off to the side, calmly puffing at her pipe, her nine tails curling lazily behind her. She looked so… composed.
She wasn’t blabbering endlessly or screeching about love every five minutes.
She was patient. Thoughtful. Even… wise.
Etna squinted. “Hey, uh. You notice how Flonne’s been a lot less annoying?”
“Oh yeah,” Asagi nodded. “She’s still the same old ‘love and peace’ freak, but now she actually thinks before she talks.”
“Uh-huh. And how much you wanna bet that’s because of that pipe?”
“Exactly what I was thinking,” Asagi said. “That thing changed her. Made her all chill and weirdly smart. Like some kind of mystical fox lady.”
The two of them stared at Flonne for a moment, who casually exhaled a swirl of blue smoke and hummed to herself.
“…Think we should steal it?” Etna muttered.
“No way,” Asagi shot down immediately. “If whatever’s in that thing is making her like that, I do not wanna risk whatever it might do to us.”
Etna grunted in agreement.
Asagi sighed, rubbing her temples. “And speaking of unwanted changes…”
She glanced down at her lap — specifically, the folded maid apron she had absentmindedly smoothed out just a second ago.
Etna smirked. “Let me guess—your inner maid urges are winning?”
“Shut up.”
Etna grinned wider. “C’mon, be honest. You actually like it, don’t you?”
“No! I…!” Asagi paused.
Because, deep inside…
She wasn’t entirely sure if she hated it.
It felt natural now. Stocking items? Instant. Cleaning up? Second nature. Cooking? She didn’t even have to think about it.
Even healing others with her creations came so effortlessly, like it was burned into her very existence.
And worst of all?
Obeying orders just felt… right.
If someone needed her to do something, she wanted to do it.
And that terrified her.
Asagi sighed heavily. “Okay. Maybe I don’t hate it as much as I should.”
Etna laughed. “Wow. That’s a whole lot of words just to say ‘yes.’”
Asagi glared. “I said shut up!”
“Pfft. Whatever you say, Master~”
Asagi’s eye twitched.
Before she could retaliate, they suddenly heard Laharl’s voice calling out from the castle.
“Asagi! Etna! We’re heading into an Item World! Get your butts over here!”
Without hesitation, Asagi’s posture snapped upright.
“Yes, Mast…!”
She clapped her hands over her mouth immediately, eyes wide.
Etna stared.
Asagi stared back.
A long pause.
Then, Etna burst out laughing.
“Ohhh, that was good!” she howled. “You didn’t even think! You just answered!”
“Shut up!” Asagi snapped, her face red as hell.
Etna wiped a tear from her eye, still grinning. “Aaaah, man. Okay, okay, fine. Let’s go.”
She stretched her arms, her third eye lazily blinking, and then grinned wildly.
Because Item Worlds meant punching.
And if there was one thing she knew she was still good at…
…It was punching.
With Asagi still fuming, the two of them followed after Laharl, disappearing into the castle halls… each of them slowly accepting the new reality of their not-so-temporary transformations.
For better…
Or for worse.
---
Step 1, throw Laharl under the bus. Step 2, throw Flonne and Asagi under the bus. No need for a step 3. After all, what could possibly go wrong?
