Fireworks go: Boom, boom, genie boobies Draft
🕑 Added 2025-01-26 01:31:28 +0000 UTC"Good evening, viewers. This is Michael Thornton reporting live from the bustling riverbank where the annual Starlight Festival of the new year is in full swing. The air is electric with anticipation as thousands gather along the waterfront, their faces illuminated by the warm glow of paper lanterns swaying gently in the evening breeze.
Behind me, you can see the magnificent setup for tonight's pyrotechnic extravaganza. Technicians in bright yellow vests scurry about, making last-minute adjustments to an arsenal of fireworks that promises to paint the night sky with a kaleidoscope of colors.
The excitement is palpable as families spread out picnic blankets on the grassy knolls, children clutching sparklers with wide-eyed wonder. The aroma of kettle corn and grilled sausages wafts through the air, mingling with the sweet scent of cotton candy.
In just a few moments, the first rockets will streak into the darkness, heralding the beginning of a display that organizers claim will be the most spectacular in the festival's twenty-year history. From whisper-quiet fountains to thunderous aerial shells, tonight's show is set to be a symphony of light and sound that will leave spectators breathless.
As we wait for the main event, the riverbank itself offers a mesmerizing prelude. Hundreds of floating lanterns drift lazily downstream, their flickering flames reflecting off the water's surface like a river of stars. It's a sight that...oh! We have just gotten word, that the show is about to begin! As such we…”

<Hello there, my dear viewers. Apologies for the interruption, but I, Nagisa Fulkami, the goddess of darkness, have a small announcement to make.
I declare that tonight's festival will end up a lot more magical than any of you expect. It is the time of wishes after all. And as such, I plan to provide ways for all of you to get your wishes granted.
Look forward to it.
And with that, let's return to the scene of the magic~>
BZZZZZZZT
“…do we run again? Oh, okay. You guys find out what just happened, I’ll just continue.
...apologize for that brief technical difficulty. As I was saying, the show is about to begin! The anticipation in the air is almost tangible as the crowd holds its collective breath.”
BANG
“And there it is! The first rocket screams into the night sky, leaving a trail of golden sparks in its wake. It bursts into a massive chrysanthemum of crimson and gold, eliciting gasps and cheers from the awestruck spectators. The boom reverberates through the air, and I... I feel a sudden tightness in my chest. Ah, I mean…"
BANG
“There! Another rocket soars upward and…”
BANG
“This time exploding into a shower of blue and silver stars that seem to hang suspended in the air. The crowd 'oohs' and 'aahs,' just as… you would expect… from… Ugh…”
BANG
“Ladies and gentlemen… Haa… what we're witnessing here is truly spectacular. The way these… haaa… fireworks illuminate the night sky is simply... breathtaking."
BANG
"I... uh... folks, I’m not sure if it’s just the excitement in the air, but something feels... weird. My clothes... they feel loose, and—wait—am I shorter? That can’t be right. Probably just the adrenaline, right? Right?"
BANG BANG BANG
"Oh! Oh wow, would you look at that? The comets! Silver trails, bursting into... Oh. Oh no. Did my voice just crack? Or... wait, is it—higher?!" Clears throat "Ahem, um, anyway, as I was saying, the intensity of this display is just... uh... breathtaking. But I—oh, I swear my hair just brushed my neck. It’s longer. It’s-... It’s longer!"
BANG
"Okay, okay, uh... this is fine! It’s fine. Ladies and gentlemen, what you’re witnessing here is truly a magical experience. A once-in-a-lifetime festival that—oh no. Oh no. My face. My face. It feels—softer? And my voice... oh no. No no no. This can’t be happening!"
BANG
"Wait! Is it the fireworks? Is it—oh no, my hands! Look at my hands! I mean, you can’t see them, but they’re—they’re smaller. And my fingers—they’re... elegant? Elegant?! Oh, come on!"
BANG BANG BANG
"It’s like—like the Starlight Festival itself has some kind of magic! And I—I’m-... I think I’m changing! You’ve got to be kidding me. My clothes! They’re practically falling off! Why is this happening?!"
BANG
"Okay, deep breath, deep breath. It’s fine. Just-... Just report, right? Focus on the crowd! The fireworks! The—oh no. My hips. I felt that. My hips just shifted! They’re wider! What even is this?!"
BANG
"My legs, too? Are my legs longer? This is—wait. My-... My waist? It’s... curving? Am I... am I turning into a—oh no, no no no! I can’t be—"
BANG BANG
"I... I think I’m turning into a genie?! This isn’t possible! Genies aren’t real! Right? Right?! And yet... oh no. Oh no. My hair’s so long now! And... and my feet! Where are my feet?! I can feel—I can feel smoke or mist or something where my legs should be!”
BANG
"This is actually happening. I don’t know how, but I—oh no. Oh no, my—my chest is—oh, you’ve got to be kidding me! I can’t report like this! Someone help! The fireworks—they’re doing this! Every explosion is—"
BANG BANG
"Every explosion is... changing me. I’m not even—oh no. Oh no, I just giggled. I never giggle. That wasn’t me. That was—it’s like I’m someone else now! Someone... someone magical, but I—"
BANG
"...Okay. Okay, I’ll admit it. This does feel kind of... incredible. Like... power. Pure power. And—wait. My voice. My voice! It’s... sultry? Is that me? Am I—oh, no. No no no, this isn’t—"
BANG
"...Okay, folks. Forget the reporting. Something... extraordinary is happening. The fireworks, the festival, the magic... It’s real. And it’s turned me into-... into—"
BANG BANG
"A genie. I’m a genie now. And you know what? Maybe... maybe that’s not so bad."
BANG
"Wait. Wait a second. This-... This microphone—it’s glowing? Why is it glowing? Oh no. Oh no no no. This is my lamp now, isn’t it? I’m a genie, and this—this stupid microphone is my lamp! I’m bound to it, aren’t I? Of all the things to be stuck with... a microphone?! How am I supposed to grant wishes with this?!"
BANG BANG BANG
"Wait... what’s happening to everyone else? Oh no. Oh no. It’s not just me! My crew—they’re changing too! Sam—Sam’s holding a camera, and he just turned into a genie of the camera! And Claire... Claire’s holding a boom pole, and now she’s floating! She’s a genie too! This is insane!"
BANG
"Oh god. Oh god, it’s not just us. Look at the crowd! Everyone’s holding something—and they’re all... changing! That guy’s holding a hotdog, and now he’s a genie of the hotdog! And that woman—she’s holding her kid’s teddy bear, and she just turned into some glittery genie of that! This whole festival—oh my god, this is madness! There’s no escape!"
BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG
"Ugh! Oh no. Oh no. Not again! My chest—it’s—it’s growing again! Why does this keep happening?! Every single explosion, it’s like... it’s like I’m inflating! My bust—it’s unreal! And it’s not just me—look at everyone! Every single person here—they’re all... bustier too! This is ridiculous! The guy holding that balloon—his chest looks like he’s smuggling beach balls! And Claire—she’s going to float away if hers get any bigger!"
BANG
"My hips! They just... widened! Again! Why does it feel like every explosion is targeting me?! I mean, okay, everyone else is dealing with it too, but why do I feel like mine’s the most dramatic?! My curves—I don’t even look human anymore! No one looks human anymore!"
BANG
"This is insane! My boobs! I can’t even see my feet anymore! …Do I even still have feet down there? And my butt! Oh god, my butt! It just keeps…keeps growing! How is this even possible?! What kind of physics-defying magic is this?! No one can move like this! And yet… somehow… I’m still standing. How?!"
BANG BANG
"Okay. Okay. Deep breath. I can still do this. I’m still me. Just... me, but as a genie. Of a microphone. And, apparently, the most ridiculously exaggerated version of myself imaginable. And everyone else... they’re just as curvy. And sparkly. And genie-fied. This is the weirdest thing I’ve ever reported on!"
BANG
"But you know what? Maybe—maybe this is the magic of the Starlight Festival. Maybe this is what it’s all about. Transformation. Magic. And... apparently... becoming the genie of whatever you’re holding. So... uh... ladies and gentlemen, stay tuned, because this story is only getting stranger!"
And that's how you make sure as many new years wishes as possible come true~
