“I’m just saying that I have a bad feeling about this,“ Esma sighed, reluctantly entering the changing room at the beach with the others.
“You always have a bad feeling about stuff like that!“ Ika giggled, happily dragging Esma along into it, not a care in the world.
“There is a reason I say it! When has Wan-Ting’s invention ever not resulted in something weird?“ Esma sighed.
“Lighten up a bit! This will be fun~” Ika giggled.
“Also, I can guarantee that my invention this time around will work 100 percent,“ Wan-Ting exclaimed, pulling out three revealing swimsuits from her bag. “I have run multiple tests, checked them with every analyzing tool I have and even gave them to a friend to test out. Trust me, they work.“
“I just want to put it out there that we are celebrating ThatFreakGivzs Productions anniversary, Wan-Ting chose to go to a beach, didn’t think through that it’s the middle of winter, and instead of just owning up to her mistake and booking literally anything else, she invented swimsuits that make you cold-resistant.“ Esma shouted.
“I don’t see the issue with that,“ Wan-Ting replied innocently. Ika giggled and Esma groaned. “Give me that damn thing and let's get this over with…“
Reluctantly, Esma snatched the swimsuit from Wan-Ting's hand, grumbling under her breath as she retreated to a corner of the changing room. Ika and Wan-Ting exchanged excited glances before hurriedly slipping into their own suits.
"Oh my, these are quite... snug," Ika commented, adjusting the fabric that clung to her curves like a second skin. The material shimmered with an iridescent sheen, almost seeming to pulse with energy.
"That's my super secret magic at work," Wan-Ting explained proudly, admiring her reflection. "It's constantly adapting to maintain optimal body temperature."
Esma emerged from her corner, tugging at the revealing swimsuit with a grimace. "I feel ridiculous. We're going to freeze the moment we step outside."
"Stop being such a downer and let's go!" Ika chirped, grabbing Esma's hand and pulling her towards the exit. Wan-Ting led the way, pushing open the changing room door with a flourish.
A gust of frigid air rushed in, carrying snowflakes that swirled around them. Esma instinctively tensed, bracing for the biting cold... but it never came.
"What the-..." she muttered, stepping out onto the snow-covered beach. The icy wind whipped her hair, but her skin remained comfortably warm.
Ika twirled in the falling snow, giggling as flakes melted on her bare shoulders. "It's working! We're not cold at all!"
Wan-Ting beamed triumphantly. "I told you! My thermal regulation technology together with my secret little magic is flawless!”
Esma couldn't help but crack a small smile as she watched Ika frolicking in the snow. "Okay, I'll admit it - this is pretty impressive, Wan-Ting."
"Just wait until you get in the water!" Wan-Ting exclaimed, already dashing towards the frigid waves. "Come on, slowpokes!"
Ika squealed with delight and raced after her, kicking up plumes of powdery snow. Esma hesitated for just a moment before shaking her head and following her friends.
The three girls splashed into the icy surf, gasping as the water swirled around their legs. But instead of the bone-chilling cold they had expected, the water felt pleasantly cool against their skin.
"This is incredible!" Ika laughed, diving beneath the waves. Ika resurfaced a moment later, her hair slicked back and glistening with icy droplets. "It's like a warm bubble bath, but better! You can feel the chill, but it doesn't hurt at all!"
Wan-Ting beamed with pride as she floated on her back, snowflakes melting on her exposed stomach. "It’s still in a testing phase, but you guys can tell that I put a lot of effort into this. The motto is: You shall be able to experience the cold waters with the grace and fun of a mermaid."
Even Esma found herself enjoying the surreal experience. She dove beneath the surface, marveling at how the frigid water felt refreshing rather than painful. Schools of fish darted away from her, their scales shimmering in the weak winter sunlight filtering through the waves.
Though as the girls continued to play in the water, the stranger effects of Wan-Ting's invention became apparent, although they started rather harmless.
For example, as Ika dove deeper, she suddenly realized she hadn't come up for air in quite some time. Panic gripped her for a moment before noticing the effortless way her body was processing the water, extracting oxygen as easily as if she was breathing air. Her eyes widened in amazement, and she let out a stream of bubbles in an underwater laugh.
Meanwhile, Esma was floating lazily on her back when she felt an odd tingling sensation in her legs. She tried to kick them apart, but found them strangely resistant. Looking down, she gasped upon seeing her thighs beginning to meld together, a shimmering, scale-like texture spreading across her skin.
"Uh, guys?" Esma called out, her voice trembling slightly. "Something weird is happening..."
Wan-Ting swam over, her eyes widening as she took in the sight of Esma's transforming lower body. "Oh my... it seems the suits are more adaptive than I anticipated."
Ika burst to the surface, her face alight with excitement. "You guys! I can breathe underwater! It's amazing!"
Her jubilation was cut short as she noticed the changes happening to her own body. Her legs were fusing together, forming a sleek, powerful tail that shimmered with iridescent scales. The process was painless, but the sensation was utterly foreign.
"Wan-Ting…" Esma said, her voice filled to the brim with annoyance. “Fix this immediately!“
“Uhm. Let me think…“ Wan-Ting's brow furrowed in concentration as she treaded water, her mind racing through possible solutions. Suddenly, she let out a startled yelp as a peculiar sensation rippled through her lower body. The others watched in astonishment as Wan-Ting's legs began to elongate and separate, splitting into not two, but eight writhing appendages.
"Oh my," Wan-Ting gasped, her voice a mixture of shock and fascination as she gazed down at her new octopus-like lower half. The tentacles, each as long as her torso, moved around independently as Wan-Ting's expression told everyone that she was more interested in her tentacles than finding a solution.
Meanwhile, Esma's transformation continued unabated. The shimmering scales spread rapidly down her legs, and her feet elongated into elegant fins. Within moments, she sported a fully functional mermaid tail, its powerful muscles rippling beneath a coat of shimmering scales that sparkled like precious gems in the winter sunlight.
"I knew it! I knew this would go horribly wrong!" Esma exclaimed, her voice rising in frustration as she slapped her new tail against the water's surface. "Every single time, Wan-Ting, every single-Forsooth, I didst proclaim with utmost certainty that such folly would befall us! 'Tis a most grievous turn of events, brought forth by thy reckless pursuits of scientific fancy!"
Ika and Wan-Ting exchanged bewildered glances as Esma continued her complaining in flowery, antiquated English.
"Pray tell, what manner of sorcery hast thou wrought upon our mortal forms?" Esma implored, her tail swishing agitatedly beneath her. "We find ourselves transformed into creatures of myth and legend, our very essence altered by thy meddlesome contraptions!"
Wan-Ting's tentacles curled around her body in a gesture of embarrassment. "I-... I'm not entirely sure what's happening," she admitted, her scientific mind already racing to analyze the unexpected developments. “None of my tests ever had resulted in something like THIS.“
As Esma continued her Shakespearean tirade, Ika reveled in her new aquatic form. She dove beneath the waves, her powerful tail propelling her through the water with effortless grace. The sensation was exhilarating, like flying through liquid silk. She twirled and somersaulted, marveling at how her body responded to the slightest movement.
"I don’t know what you are complaining about, Esma!" Ika exclaimed, breaking the surface with a joyous laugh. "I feel so free, so... powerful!"
No sooner had the words left her lips than a peculiar tingling spread through her body. Ika gasped as she felt her muscles begin to swell and define, her slender form rapidly transforming into that of a statuesque aquatic goddess. Her shoulders broadened, her arms and torso rippling with newfound strength. Even her tail grew more muscular, the powerful muscles clearly visible beneath her glistening scales.
"Holy carp! Pun intended." Ika exclaimed, flexing her new bodybuilder physique. "I'm positively Amazonian!"
Meanwhile, Esma's lament took on a new urgency as her own body began to change once more. "Fie upon this bewitched attire!" she cried, her voice rising in pitch as her chest began to swell. "What fresh devilry is this?"
Esma's transformation accelerated, her body reshaping itself with alarming speed. Her breasts swelled dramatically, straining against the fabric of her swimsuit until it creaked in protest. They ballooned outward, growing impossibly large and round, defying gravity as they bobbed in the chilly water.
At the same time, her hips began to widen, flaring out to match her expanding chest. The scales shimmered and stretched to accommodate her new curves, creating mesmerizing patterns that rippled with every movement. Her waist, by contrast, seemed to shrink, accentuating the dramatic hourglass shape that was rapidly forming.
Esma's hands flew to her chest in a futile attempt to contain her growing assets. "Zounds! What manner of sorcery hath befallen my bosom?" she cried, her voice a mixture of shock and frustration. "They swell like rising loaves, threatening to burst forth from this accursed garment!"
As if in response to her outburst, her posterior began to expand as well. Her once-modest buttocks rounded out, becoming full and shapely. The transformation spread down her tail, which thickened and grew more muscular, its powerful muscles rippling beneath the iridescent scales.
"Forsooth, I am become a creature of excess!" Esma wailed, staying afloat with sheer buoyancy while her new proportions threatened to upset her balance. Her exaggerated hourglass figure was now so extreme, that none of them were even sure if they had seen a human that could rival either of her boobs, ass or hips in size, let alone all three.
As Esma struggled to come to terms with her new, impossibly voluptuous form, Ika's transformation continued unabated. Her already impressive musculature began to swell even further, pushing the limits of human physiology and then surpassing them entirely.
Ika's biceps bulged outward, growing larger than her head and then larger still. Her shoulders broadened to an incredible width, each deltoid resembling a boulder sculpted from flesh. Her back expanded, muscles rippling and writhing beneath her skin like living topography.
"Damn, girls~!" Ika exclaimed, poking her biceps while her voice deepened as her neck thickened. "Now I feel like I could wrestle an actual kraken!"
Her powerful tail, already formidable, grew to match her expanding upper body. The muscles beneath her scales bulged and defined, each flex sending waves through the water around her. Her abdominals became so pronounced that they resembled a granite countertop, each ridge and valley clearly defined.
As Ika's growth continued, she began to tower over her companions. Her height doubled, then tripled, until she was a veritable giantess compared to Esma and Wan-Ting. The water that had once reached her chest now barely lapped at her waist.
"I say," Ika boomed, her voice resonating across the winter beach, "this is rather unexpected, but not entirely unpleasant! I think we should-…"
PING
Suddenly both the eyes of Esma and Ika greyed out, both of them stopping in their tracks. Wan-Ting could feel it too, a tug on her memories that she just so managed to resist.
A moment later, Esma and Ika's eyes refocused, but something had fundamentally changed. Esma tossed her long, flowing hair over her shoulder and gazed at her reflection in the water, admiring her impossibly voluptuous form with a smug smile.
"Verily, I declare myself the fairest creature to ever grace these waters!" Esma proclaimed, her voice dripping with royal haughtiness. "Pray tell, loyal Ika, dost thou not agree that my beauty surpasseth all others?"
Ika, her massive, muscular form now seeming perfectly natural to her, bowed her head in deference. "Of course, Your Highness. Your beauty is unmatched in all the seven seas. How may I serve you on this fine day?"
Wan-Ting watched in bewilderment as her friends' personalities seemed to have completely transformed along with their bodies. Esma now carried herself with the air of a spoiled princess, while Ika had taken on the role of a devoted knight and servant.
"I find myself wearied by these frigid waters," Esma declared, dramatically draping herself across a nearby ice floe. "Fetch me a cushion of kelp, that I might recline in comfort befitting my station."
"At once, Your Highness," Ika replied eagerly. With a powerful flick of her tail, she dove beneath the waves, her enormous form cutting through the water more like a torpedo than a fish, causing the water to rush after her wherever she swam.
“Oh gosh, I need to find a solution quickly.“ Wan-Ting declared, feeling the pull in her head getting stronger by the second. “Think: how can I turn all of us back? It has to do something with the nano-tech, but would princess Esma approve of that? After all, I would need to fiddle with her favourite wardrobe.“
“No. I mean, she isn't… A princess. She's a-… I should…“
“I can’t forget…“
“To serve… princess Esma… with everything I have…“
As Wan-Ting's thoughts became increasingly muddled, she felt herself slipping into a new role. Her tentacles curled and uncurled anxiously as her mind reorganized itself around a new reality.
"I-... I am Wan-Ting, court magician and tutor to Her Royal Highness, Princess Esma," she muttered, her voice growing more confident with each word. "It is my sacred duty to ensure the princess continues her studies, even during this... excursion to the surface world."
"Your Highness," Wan-Ting called out, bowing low before Esma's ice floe throne. "While I hate to interrupt your repose, I must remind you of your daily lessons. The intricacies of surface dweller customs await your keen mind."
"Fie upon thee, Wan-Ting!" Esma exclaimed, her voluptuous form quivering with indignation on her icy perch. "Dost thou not comprehend that I have but recently arrived in this frigid realm? 'Tis my divine right to bask in the novelty of this wintry paradise, free from the shackles of scholarly pursuits!"
Esma's exaggerated curves jiggled hypnotically as she gesticulated, her impossibly large bosom threatening to spill from her enchanted swimwear with each dramatic motion. The iridescent scales adorning her lower half shimmered in the pale sunlight, casting prismatic reflections across the snowy beach.
Wan-Ting's tentacles writhed anxiously, her cephalopod lower half betraying her inner conflict. "But Your Highness," she implored, "the intricacies of surface dweller etiquette are of utmost importance! We mustn't squander this opportunity for cultural enlightenment!"
As the two continued their spirited debate, a massive disturbance in the water heralded Ika's return. The musclebound mermaid erupted from the waves like a leviathan, her colossal form casting a shadow over her companions. In her massive arms, she cradled an enormous bundle of kelp, harvested from the depths below.
"Your Highness," Ika's booming voice alone shook the surface of the water. “I have returned with what you requested!“
"Splendid work, my loyal Ika!" Esma exclaimed, clapping her hands in delight. Her bountiful boobs jiggled enticingly with the motion, threatening to spill out of her enchanted swimwear. "Pray, arrange my verdant throne with utmost care!"
Ika beamed with pride, her muscular form rippling as she carefully arranged the kelp into a luxurious lounging area atop the ice floe. Her enormous arms, each larger than Esma's entire torso, moved with surprising delicacy as she wove the slippery strands into an intricate pattern.
"Your comfort is my highest priority, Your Highness," Ika rumbled, her deep voice full of devotion.
Wan-Ting, seeing the joy on her princess's face, felt her resolve weakening. Her tentacles curled and uncurled as she wrestled with her sense of duty. "Perhaps... a short respite from studies would not be amiss," she conceded reluctantly.
Esma's eyes lit up with childlike wonder. "Oh, Wan-Ting! Dost thou truly mean it? Might we frolic in this winter wonderland without the burden of lessons?"
Unable to resist her princess's enthusiasm, Wan-Ting nodded. "Yes, Your Highness. Let us explore the marvels of the surface world together."
Squealing with delight, Esma jumped onto the kelp bed, almost sinking it with her enormous buttocks. But only almost. Ika smiled on a job well done and Wan-Ting rolled her eyes at the princess's childishness.
Something deep inside of Wan-Ting told her that there was something wrong with the swimsuits all of them were wearing, but she quickly dismissed the notion. After all, why worry about trivial things when you are on a vacation?
—
Beach vacation in the middle of winter? What could possibly go… oh, Wan-Ting is there. No, you are all screwed.
