Trendsetter Flash Fiction

I think the whole idea of having 'duplicates' raises a lot of interesting philosophical questions, so I took at stab at writing a more serious piece here. I hope you enjoy!

My biggest question will be whether or not to treat them all as canon (well, Stoic is definitely canon)

I'm leaning toward the approach in the short story, where she can temporarily "absorb" them, but that they prefer to be outside of her, with each clone/duplicate manifesting a different part of her personality. I think it's more interesting that way. And she'll definitely be appearing in CCH3.
I liked the concept of being able to feel the loss of a duplicate but does that mean duplicates are like a permanent limb rather than something trendsetter can just reproduce at will? I all ways just assumed they were like solidified illusions because of the way she spawned one in standing over the reporters shoulder during the interview.
