Fun fact if you watch the original gintama dub (where they only dubbed season 4 until recently) They used scott mcneil to voice piccolo and scott mcneil was the original voice actor during the ocean dubbed dragonball z. The best english piccolo too imo. Many of you probably know him more as the voice of wolverine.

Infodump: Episode 266: -The press conference Gintoki is in at the beginning is based on a previous political scandal which rocked Japan, the scandal which involved Japanese politician, Ryutaro Nonomura. See Mohammed’s post above. -The Gintama anime actually got in a lot of trouble for doing this and as such, episode 266 is no longer reran/showed on TV.
