Think about it this way, Natsu and Zeref are Hundreds of Years old. So remember back to the Laxus Arc where Freed put that age spell, and natsu couldnt get out of it.

What’s funny about this is that Zeref said “Etharious Natsu Dragneel” before during the Tartorous arc, but you didn’t really see the line ig, so it makes this reaction 10x better LOL
