Kaha Miniatures: Oroko Rin
🕑 Added 2020-12-30 00:36:17 +0000 UTCConcept art for a miniature I was finally able to complete! I actually started the sketch for this on one of my last streams, I dunno if anyone remembers.
I was asked to revisit a concept I painted for them in 2013 and to do a more modern, sleeker version of this oni warrior. This time with a little imori lizard friend that fights along side her.
I was happy to revisit a concept I did so long ago but was so fond of. https://www.deviantart.com/pechan/art/Rin-394963136 It's a great way to see how far you've come!
EDIT: Added 4 rough sketches of the initial concepts before a pose was decided by the client.

Of course I remember this piece; wonderful to see it finished. I actually have this Kaha mini and your original production art for it is what sold me on it (that was 2015 iirc). When I finally get around to painting the mini, I'll be sure to use this as the color ref.
