Little Update for June (#rant)
🕑 Added 2022-05-30 15:54:16 +0000 UTCHey huns! How are you doing?! I hope well!
I'm doing this post to address a few things that will change a little bit starting next month! As I've said in many of my posts, due to the amount of time it takes me to create all the rewards for patreon, I've been neglecting my health which has been in the decline for a good few months now! Just this past month I've had otitis in both of my ears and had no time to actually get it treated properly, so I just powered through with the pain + all the side effects like fever, headaches and nausea. This also leaves me displeased with myself because I feel like, due to my health issues, I'm not being able to give you guys quality work and do more, what's making me develop a big impostor syndrome ヽ༼ຈل͜ຈ༽ﾉ...
So starting next month I want to do a few things different!
1. Exclusive SFW and NSFW episodes will have less panels.
I'll try to reduce the number of panels on the SFW/NSFW episodes and focus more on trying to make the panels more interesting. So there might be a little less context given in future mini episodes, but hopefully an increase in the quality of the panels~
2. Exclusive SFW and NSFW might be shifted to illustrations instead of mini episodes depending on the time I need to take off in a month.
If I'm having a hard time taking care of myself and taking some time off to rest, I will update you guys on perhaps doing an illustration for the prompt instead of a mini episode. If that ends up being the case, I'll try to also provide sketches for other prompts to make up, in a way, for the lack of a mini episode, so you might see more than one prompt coming to life~
For now these are the two big changes I'll do as the SFW and NSFW content are what have been eating most of my time~ Since a month has 4 weeks and I'm basically doing 4 episodes a month (2 canon + 1 SFW + 1 NSFW) and each episode might take me around 1 week to finish (I know, i'm slow T^T) I have been staying awake for 36 hours constantly and sleeping for around 3~4 hours to get them all done + the wallpapers and everything ; - ;...
I have been neglecting not only myself, but friends and family as well who I never find time to meet or pay attention to and I think this needs to change ;v;~ I hope you all can understand if I end up providing a little less content on a month in comparison to a previous one, I'm just tired of not giving myself time to rest and not giving myself time to enjoy life and be with friends and family (since I'm constantly working even on weekends OTL).
AND NONE OF THIS is to say that any of this is your fault! I know it was never implied, but just want to make it clear! Many of you have been reaching out worried about me and asking me to rest and take some time off and heal, but I'm just a bundle of worries and stress X,D! I'm constantly worried I'll disappoint you guys if I slack off, so I keep forcing myself to keep going regardless of how I'm feeling. This is all on me, I should have known better and I need to stop thinking the world is putting pressure on me when that's basically me putting pressure on myself and externalizing it.
SORRY FOR THE RANT! I just wanted to let you know what's going on with my life and the changes patreon will go through to accommodate a healthier lifestyle for myself ;v;~
I honestly love you guys and owe everything i have to you T-T! Every opportunity that comes my way, the chance to start making a difference and the chance to work on something I love doing! Hoping this update won't upset anyone, but I totally understand if it does!
Thank you once again for your patience with me and my slow ass!
Sincerely,
Nori~
