Just wanted to let you know what I'm planning for this month in terms of releases and projects.
As you may or may not know SideQuest 2021 is now happening. It's a community initiative to see tabletop developer's crowdfunding projects get some love, outside organized corporate events like ZineQuest. You can check out all the projects by following that link, there are lots of neat games from solo RPGs to supplements. Of course my game MERGER will be rolling out as part of this community initiative on November 10th. Don't forget to follow the project on Kickstarter if you want to see it develop and get notified when it goes live.
I'm working right now on finishing up Mission Marginalia, my supplement for External Containment Bureau which successfully Kickstarted earlier this year. I'm currently putting the prototype into layout and that should be finished and available for all patrons by the end of the week.
I'm gonna hold off on releasing Kassandra King: Devil's Dice until December. I want as many eyes on MERGER as possible this month, and I'll start working on that when I've finished with Missions Marginalia.
Yesterday I submitted a short story to a national contest! Prizes include publication and a few thousand dollars. I won't know until next year whether I've won or lost. If I lose I may post the story here, or refine it a bit and also publish it through itch. Not sure yet. But, your patronage lets me pursue those kinds of things, so thanks!
Also we are getting close to my first new Patreon goal! At $350 I'll be posting occasional polls to get y'all to help me pick new projects. I'll offer a selection of 3-5 things that are in the ideation stage, and you'll pick which one I develop into a prototype and then a fully-fledged game. From there it's just a short hope to the $500 goal and things really get interesting around here.
