New Microphone!

I've been (very) unhappy with the audio quality of my recent live action sections, and considering I've been using the same mic for about four years, I felt like it was time for an upgrade. Not gonna lie, it is an expensive ass mic, but it also solves just about every audio issue I have, so I consider it an good investment, did a little dry run with it there and man it sounds so silky smooth, and can capture sound so well even from a distance. A new mic might not seem like a big deal, but it opens a lot of doors in the kind of stuff I'm going to be able to do so just want to say thanks to everyone here, its because of your support that I'm able to afford decent equipment like this, and am able to keep upping the quality of the channel. thank you, I love you.

Iβm honestly curious what his last microphone was. Listened to him for years and always thought he sounded fantastic. It could just be his voice though lol

That's a flash mic you got there! Very jealous. I do recording for VO work myself but I'm nowhere near the level of a 416. Congrats, and I look forward to hearing the results.
