As a result, the entirety of this remaining crumb of habitat could one day be partially demolished despite being in a conservation easement.
in this habitat we explore some of the sand scrub communities and talk about the fire dependency (and fire-adapted nature) of many of these plants, including Gordonia lasianthus (Green Tra Family, Theaceae), Lyonia lucida (Blueberry Family - Ericaceae), Gaylussacia nana, Quercus geminata, Serenoa repens, Carphephorus odoratissimus (aka Vanilla Leaf), and more.

the idea of spending even more time and money stuck on a clogged up toll road sounds pretty appealing... oops i meant appalling ;-P developers are by far our most damaging invasive species. great time of year to see showy FL natives! greetings from just west of Orlando!
