🕑 Added 2015-12-27 10:38:26 +0000 UTC Now that I'm back into the swing of things, production will begin immediately tomorrow. I started on her quite some time ago but never made it far and I'd prefer to just start from the ground up. It really won't take long. The results aren't too great, but she'll look far, far better in-game after being reconstructed and given some proper materials.
That said, some early work has begun on the v3 model overhaul. Not much regarding the models themselves yet as far as planning, but the eye system is being rebuilt so the characters will actually look around. Expressions and such will be added soon after.
The full v3 update may include fully reconstructed models, new emissive shading on the hair, a rebuilt extended features addon, better support for ragdolls, removal of some unnecessary helper bones (many of which resulted in buggy joint movement), overhauling existing helper bones (primarily the broken bone on Miku Append's right shoulder) and perhaps some cheating to ignore the bone limit. There's a lot more planned and many of these are still uncomfirmed, but it's a glimpse of what's to come if and when the v3 goal is met.
