🕑 Added 2019-08-21 18:10:43 +0000 UTCI get really anxious over expansions or DLC that come out long after I've wandered away from a game. When you start a new game, you get that gradual progression through mechanics and difficulty, but when you come back to your old save, you're just sort of thrown into the deep end without, necessarily, all of the muscle memory you'd built up to get there.
I'm relieved to hear that Iceborne will launch some mechanics to A) Help new and returning players reacclimate to the core-game stuff, and B) incentives to do lower rank stuff to help out players at different levels.
Makes me a little less freaked out at remembering practically none of my Charge Blade timing.
