HEY!!! For some reason the app won't ask for external storage write privileges.

Oh, wsa is android 12 still, my phone is on android 13. could that be the problem?

Well, i'm not sure whats going then. I cant manually give the storage permission from settings, because it looks like the permission isnt part of the app at all. reinstalling, and clearing the phones cache didnt work, either.

Okay, so the popup, and request does work on wsa, just not my phone.. I'll try uninstalling again, and make sure cache gets cleared, then reinstall.

Pressing ok does nothing, and android says no permissions have been denied.

It won't ask for the permission, just says it needs the permission. I've reinstalled at this point, and still isn't working.

It will ask, if permission not granted (or not if declined).
