Casting Call for April!
🕑 Added 2022-02-25 13:58:36 +0000 UTC**update: four players set (Kevin, Shidika, Maeve, and Ade). Two are returning players so please let me know if you want in but have never played on our channel**
We will do a casting call in the next month for Delta Green so watch for it!
Call of Cthulhu is the system but with a twist. The game will start in late April. Four players maximum.
CATS Pitch below…
Concept: All characters are 10-11 years old (4th or 5th grade). You will all know each other and may, or may not be friends. On a dare you will sneak into the abandoned house at the outskirts of your small suburban town to spend the night.
Aim: A tale about kids proving they’re not too scared to spend the night in the house everyone in town avoids.
Tone: Tension, scary, creepy
Subject Matters: Peer pressure, danger, supernatural, bullying, friendship, and survival.
A marriage of Stranger Things, Goonies, and Stand by Me in a “haunted” house.
Please let me know in the comments if you’re available and interested. We will try and play bi-weekly. I anticipate 2-5 sessions. Days and times decided once we gather the players.
New players will get priority. Diversity of the cast will be considered.

For sure - right now we have over 6 different games running, As we wrap them up and get down to four or less, we will open up for more plays. I do want to bring the Star Wars players back for more adventures (Good, Scum, and Villainy) as well as bringing back the Mothership players for another run at that game. Once a new game opens, we announce a casting call here, and Patrons who've never played always get preference.
Are there going to be Anymore casting calls Coming up?
Craig Shipman
This won’t be the game for him BUT let’s connect on messenger and come up with one-shot that would fit the bill!
I'm weighing in late, just to say that I have a bona fide 4th grader who would love to play with you, Craig. Any time you want to run the "kid game" please let me know. (If it helps, he's a patron at the $1 tier :)

Kevin - can you ping me on the discord server or PM me your handle?
Craig Shipman
You are the fourth!!
Ohhh, this sound like alot of fun. If I can be in I want in!
Craig Shipman
I’ll pencil you in as 3rd!
I'd love to if there's room after new players sign up!
Craig Shipman
Excellent - you’re our second player!
Kevin Rademachir
I would be interested to give it a go.
Craig Shipman
Let’s mark you as IN! If things fall apart during scheduling we can figure it out.
Craig Shipman
Call of Cthulhu is very easy. I’ll teach as we play. No previous system experience required.
Craig Shipman
It will be online and streamed live. No details on days or times - need to cast and find what works best. Let me know if you need more details!

Is this an online game? Are there any details available?

I'm open to a discussion around availability. Weekend afternoon or evening is jolly spiffing and no mistake! Although i do have a few pre-arranged engagements. Not available Sat 21st May (Wedding), Sun 29th May (holiday), Sat 4th June (UK , games expo), Sat 25th July (Tankfest), Sat 2nd July (Wedding)... wow actually it looks like im away alot, i blame the wife for managing my diary. Well, im up for it but fully understand if I am bumped for another who has less stuff going down. :)

I haven’t played the system. Is it easy to pick up?

What time zone are you in?
Craig Shipman
Concept, Aim, Tone, Subject Matter. CATS for short (CATSM doesn’t have a ring to it). It’s a good way to pitch a game to players so they can decide if it fits them.
Ade S
Ok I'm interested. Depends on availability really

What's a CATS pitch?
