Excerpt from an Afternoon

“And at one, you’re wide awake.”
Todd opened his eyes and looked up at Sarah, smiling.
He’d lost count of how many times he’d been in trance today, going down and up and down again following her voice.
“Wow,” he said. “Thank you.”
“Thank you,” she said. “You’re keeping up wonderfully here. How are you feeling?”
He laughed. “So good, Miss,” he answered. “You’re amazing.”
“Wonderful,” she said. Then she snapped her fingers and told him to drop.
Todd’s body sank back into the couch again as his mind went blank. For what could easily have been the hundredth time that day, her voice was the only thing in his head.
He felt himself floating, sinking, drifting along with her words.
Everything she said felt good.
She ran her fingers through his hair while she praised him for dropping so well for her, telling him how much she enjoyed seeing him fall back into trance so quickly. How proud he should be that his mind was able to obey so readily. He was happy to have made her proud of him.
“It feels good to obey me so readily, doesn’t it?” she asked.
“Yes, Miss,” he answered softly. His voice felt far away.
“Good boy,” she said. He felt a rush of pleasure down his spine.
It felt good to be her good boy.
She’d been training him for months now, praising him when he obeyed and gently correcting him when he strayed. He loved every moment of being hers, but the best were days like this, when she would relieve him of the burden of thinking and allow him to surrender totally to her control.
“Repeat after me now,” she said. “It feels good to be blank.”
“It feels good to be blank.”
“It feels good to obey.”
“It feels good to obey.”
“It feels good to be your good boy.”
“It feels good to be your good boy.”
“It feels good to be blank.”

“Very good,” she said. He could hear the smile in her voice. “Wake up now,” she ordered with another snap of her fingers.
Todd opened his eyes again and blinked to clear the fog around his thoughts. He felt like he was glowing.
“How are you doing?” she asked.
“I’m fantastic,” he answered, grinning widely.
“I’m glad,” she said with a smile. “Is your neck feeling okay? Your head dropped a bit quickly that time.”
He paused to focus on his neck for a moment before answering. “It feels fine, Miss. I didn’t even notice how quickly I’d dropped.”
“Well, you weren’t exactly in a state to be noticing things.”
He laughed. “That’s true, Miss.”
She gripped his hair and leaned close to whisper in his ear. “Drop for me now.”
His eyelids fluttered as his mind fell away once again.
“Good boy,” she said.
He felt another rush of pleasure.
She was talking again about how pleased she was with him, with how readily he obeyed. Praising him for being well trained.
He was so happy to have pleased her.
It felt so good to belong to her, to be trained by her, to be able to submit to her control.
He loved feeling her in his mind like this, filling him with pleasure while melting away his thoughts.
He loved getting lost in her voice.
She continued whispering in his ear as his mind got further and further away, fading into submission and obedience as she trained him deeper and deeper under her control.
