I keep going back to the highlight on LB’s bottom lip in the third to last page, wow. Your attention to detail is unmatched. What an absolute JOURNEY this comic has been. Still so many unanswered questions but I feel like I have a much better understanding of their dynamic (or as much understanding as they have misunderstandings lol). Here's what I noticed throughout this AU, the comics and past art: LB: "What was that?" "What happened to you?" "I wish you'd tell me why you...changed sides." CN: "If you knew...what would you think of me?" "Did I upset you or...did I hurt you?" "Do you really think I don't trust you?" "This is going to be another one of those 'things you pretend never happened between us' moments?" (added the word moments, it's not originally there) Possible analysis here: Their relationship isn't them being rivals or lovers, villains or heroes, miraculous holders of opposite purposes (Creation and Destruction). Their relationship is just built on unanswered questions that they're trying to get answered. Maybe it's individually answered questions or maybe it's together. Other than that: Great artwork and story telling!

You know, this *does* highlight something I noticed about the Enemies AU for a long while now: These two don't kiss. To me, it seems they don't kiss because they aren't "together." Kisses are for partners, and they aren't that any longer. (They're splitting hairs, obviously, but you get what I mean.)
