Been working on this one off and on for a few weeks now. It might not make much sense to anyone but me; I still hope you all like it though!
In this comic, Ladybug uses one of the suites in the Grand Paris Hotel as her "base" sometimes and forgot to hide her info board before Chat came over. Ladybug has been taking notes on what Chat says during akuma battles and writing down anything she thinks might be important to revealing many of the questions she has towards Chat. Why did he turn against her? What is the reason he wants her Miraculous? Is Hawkmoth threatening him and that's why he became a villain? Chat's refused to answer any of them.
I also did a bit of editing on Ladybug's suit in this AU mostly because I missed drawing her pigtails. Can't have her wearing a ponytail in every AU I make lol

Whenever I read any fan fiction where Marinette/Ladybug and Adrien/Chat Noir are aged up. I picture them as your characters. You draw them so well; I can't see anybody else in my head anymore.

btw, would you say that this au is pre-s5 ending in terms of the butterfly miraculous' owner? i suppose the mental tug-of-war inside chat would not be as significant as portrayed in the fic if "she" is the au's hawk moth, assuming chat and hm had "contacted" before.

Once More, With Feeling absolutely ruined me ๐ญ such amazing writing and story telling, but the ending left me so hollow because I hate sad endings. That fic definitely helped kickstart me into making my own Enemies AU, but I don't want to go the route of them sleeping with the other to gain information. It'll be a while but I hope I can write out the comic explaining why they're in this situation! ๐

out of curiosity, have you read the fanfic 'once more, with feeling' by zimtlein? i just find the premise of the work and this au so eerily similar. bar the different circumstances where they fell out over chat being her foe, those two both feature the animosity between lb and cn, how they try their best to trust and reconnect with the other, and yes, how fuc-oops-fornication acts as a way for them to be clued on the other's thinking. minor spoiler, i'm eager for a "better" ending in this au, whatever that could be.
