The things I think when I look through photos
🕑 Added 2025-06-25 14:00:10 +0000 UTCThis is probably going to be an "odd" post especially since I'm classically terrible and choosing one "winning" image when I shoot but I'm going to walk you through my thoughts as I look back through some of the photos taken when I shot at the hotel.

I enjoy that I'm standing over the light, almost like a have a shining aura about me.
I like that this is a simple photo, head on, no hiding.
I like that there is a honest realness to the hotel room - my bag on the microwave, garbage from dinner the night before. My sunglasses left out etc. Details like this make things feel more real to me. (These things simply ended up here and were not staged.)
My tits are sitting really well in this lingerie.
Also pink and red is such a vibe.

I love it when things look "undone".
And the weirdest photos are forever my fav.
I like how this one has movement within myself but everything else in the room is static. You can tell that I'm the only living thing in the room, imperfect, messy.
I also like that you can tell it's a hotel. It's still - it was there before me, it will be there after me. I'm a blur to the room itself as it sees so many people.

I like that my foot looks like it's swallowed by the carpet. (My toes are just turned in.)
I also like that this pose shows my body in a way that I don't favor. I'm very round and rolly polly here - its showing a form I normally hide.

I don't love this photo. I wouldn't choose it. But...
I like how I'm standing right between the light and the dark. Something I didn't notice when taking the photo.

This one is lonely but in a softly beautiful type of way.
It's weird to me because I feel as though you can tell that I'm all alone in a dark hotel room but yet I'm posed in a "come hither" way.

I just love this.
I'm going through such transition right now. I feel as though I have one foot in my old self and one foot in my new self. My entire self is in such transition that I hum with indifference between the pull of both sides.

This one I most likely wouldn't pick either.
I like the pose of this but I think it needs more movement in general.
Almost like I shot this the moment before it got really good.

A friend who is always with me yet mostly invisible.

Standing very naturally. Not posing. A pure moment captured.

I love this deep dive into your selection process. I agree with you about No. 6 (and it is a fave). No. 3 is my personal "pic" of the bunch, though I do not see a single one that doesn't have great character.

I loved the lighting in #1 and the shadow of your long arm. My favorite though is #6 where it appears like you're vibrating so fast. To me it is like taking a still of a hummingbird in motion and serves to remind us that we are finite so use the time we have wisely...
