My Covenant - The Vicious Vampire Queen: Chapter 6

“Fine, I will do it.” The Saintess replied with a little fire in her voice, more than she’s shown up to this point.
Boom!
The carriage rumbled by a sudden tremor. From the back of the carriage, through a small window, you could see a plume of fire rising into the sky. Hmm, I wonder if those two guys are still putting up a fight.
Out of curiosity, I called out, “Soul Book.”
Name: Selene Voltaire
Race: Progenitor Vampire
Gender: Female
Age: 18
Ultimate Skill: Chaos Magic (LV1), Blood Bond (MAX)
Active Skills: Domination (LV1), Blood Shield (LV1), Nail Claws (LV1), Shadow Step (LV1)
Passive Skills: Ultra Regeneration (MAX↑), Heightened Senses (LV3), Super Strength (LV3)
Rank: Baron (65%)
SP: 3
Wait… My percentage went up so much from just killing the Pope and some random maid? That can’t be right, or is it possible those whom I dominate can contribute to my advancement through the ranks? If that’s really true, then I could just overthrow an entire kingdom and turn as many as I can, sending them out into the world. I will reach max level in no time!
Sadly, something I had forgotten at the time is to never trust anyone. Giving my back to the Saintess, who appeared to be kind and afraid, was an oversight. From the stories of my past, I should have known that the chances of the Saintess being evil were much higher than her being a scared rabbit.
Qing squish
“Who the hell would want to serve a crazy psycho bitch like you?” After the Saintess’s words, she continued to stab me in the back as I was in a state of shock at my stupidity. The second she thought she got me good, she jumped out of the carriage and screamed at her men. “Help me! She just tried to kill me!”
I looked outside the door at the Saintess pointing her finger at me with contempt written all over her face. My current true strength was unknown, and going all out against twenty to thirty knights wasn’t recommended.
Before leaving, I wanted to leave the Saintess with some words: “You really fucked up, Saintess; now you’ve entered my shit list. No matter how long it takes me, I will turn your whole existence into my blood bag in the future.”
She replied with a wicked smile, something you would see on Renner from Overlord.
“Thank you for this very important lesson you have just taught me. Make sure to watch your back from now on, Saintess, because someday I will be there to take everything away.” After those words, I faded into the darkness, traveling as deep into the forest as I could before my skills effect lifted. Moving at high speeds in this state is just not possible.
I really got the book thrown at me in this life. Just how many more people will disappoint me? My words to that Saintess was sincere, but now I just want to step all over her and make her regret that decision. In this life I have to make sure I don’t repeat stupid mistakes. Leaving my back to someone who could have actually had divine power and hurt me was stupid.
Who knows if what she said about being a fake Saintess was actually true? She could have just said that to get me off guard. But the fact she didn’t attack me with some kind of divinity proves she’s probably telling the truth. Also, why didn’t the Pope use any divine magic on me? Unless I break the Saintess in the future, I will probably never know that answer.
With my current time limit of traveling through the darkness about to time out, I couldn’t help but sigh as multiple knights were still very close to my location. The enemy’s current power is too unknown, and my location is also unfamiliar. My only hope is to use a soul point to help me in this situation.
If I put one into shadow step, could it extend my time within the darkness? I would obviously prefer to fight and kill off these bastards, but it’s just too risky until I fully understand my powers. That’s why the idea of extending it through a point seems to be the most optimal decision.
Opening up my soul book I will one-point into shadow step, instantly feeling a change. It felt as if my time was extended by almost five times. I was very lucky it was dark outside, making it very easy to use this amazing ability to travel great distances in secret. Unfortunately, my speed was very normal; pushing my way against the heavy pressure of shadows wasn't easy.
There was no need to jump from shadow to shadow with everything so dark outside. It was more of a camouflage within the darkness. I stayed completely silent and still as I watched a group of holy knights run right past me. At least I know they’re not capable of tracking me down in this state.
A long way off in the distance, I heard some weird weeping noises. Also, the smell of blood was ripe in the air. Whoever it was, it smelled really good. As if some kind of rare delicacy I’ve never experienced in all my life. It was calling out to me. Come and devour it.
I had to find out what this was, so I moved in the direction of my desire. My enhanced hearing was picking up on much more than one individual. Just what kind of place is this? Coming out of the shadows back into tangibility, I stand in front of a white shed. It has the mark of the Church of Karthegin right on its front.
“Screw you, stupid humans!” A female voice roared.
“Shut your mouth, you mangy mutt; the only thing you're good for is our entertainment. If you don’t be a good girl, I will make this much harder on you.”
Hmm, what in the world is going on?
My senses warned me of the danger earlier, but what I feel within this little shed is nothing at all. I’m assuming if I open this door, there will be stairs that lead into some kind of underground facility.
Creek
Damn, that was so loud! But, if what I’m feeling is actually true, there is nothing threatening here, and it won’t matter if they notice me. Sure enough, there were stairs right in front of me, so I started making my way down.
The constant cries of multiple victims in the air as I make my way deep down into this torture chamber, I couldn’t help but feel excited.
Why would I feel excited by hearing people in agony? Have I truly evolved into something that sees others in pain as something amusing? Hehehe, who cares!
Getting to the bottom of the long stairway, the smell of blood was so thick in the air that it felt as if I had just walked into an all-you-can-eat buffet. Not all were equal, though; only one truly had my attention. Far off in the distance, I could see three men trying to ravage a girl on the top of a table.
The strange thing being she actually had a tail with cute little fluffy ears. She had hair as white as snow with a fluffy tail to match. Her ears were black and a vibrant red. Her clothes were almost taken all the way off. Her feet were kicking all around in a fury to rid herself of these rapists. Both of her arms were currently in straps, not allowing any other part of her body to move but her lower half.
I could see the bestial looks in the three men's eyes as if they were about to pounce on their prey. Three sets of holy knight armor lean against the wall. The scent of musk in the air was layered thick. Looking over at a few cages on the wall, I saw multiple females of different races lifeless in different revealing positions within their enclosures.
My current set of clothes isn’t exactly covering all of my most intimate parts with all I’ve been through. Not to mention most of my body is either dirty or caked with blood. I wasn’t exactly clean after what I did to that shameless Pope. Blowing that man’s head off made quite the mess.
“Just shut your mouth and accept it. You can either become ours or end up like the rest of them. There are only two options.”
“Obey our commands and become our own personal fuck doll, or we rape you anyway, killing you after. That’s all your entire beast race is even worth. The disgusting Beastkin race is only imitating human. You’re nothing but a feral animal.”
“We at least view you as something we wish to keep. It’s not our fault everyone tries to get away, forcing us to kill them. So just obey, you bitch, and live a little longer.”
After hearing the words of the culprits, it makes me feel even more furious at wanting to rip these pieces of human trash apart. But, at the same time, I couldn't help but laugh at the words coming out of their mouth.
“HAHAHA, what bullshit are you spouting?” At my words, all three men and the wounded cutie on the table look my way. “Humans are such trash. How can such a disgusting race seriously think it’s better than any other?”
“What the fuck?”
“Look at those bright red eyes!”
“Is that a monster?”
I realized they haven’t quite seen my appearance, but it looks like my eyes are doing their job. Walking out of the darkness, I saw all their faces that were fearful turn to that of lust. It’s so obvious what they’re thinking. It’s giving all men in the world a bad name to only think with their dicks.
“From your obvious faces, you probably also see me as prey, just like that cute wolf girl you have there.” I said with a hint of sarcasm.
“Of course, baby, even though you’re currently all covered in blood, that’s fine. Come over here and join the party.” A lanky man said while nudging the shorter one on his side.
“That’s right; we’re just playing a game with this beastkin; she likes playing it rough.”
“What…” I hear the Beastkin’s voice for the first time, but before she could say what she wanted, the muscular man who seemed to be the leader of the three put his hand over her mouth.
“It’s just a game, so it’s all good. Strip and get over here while we’re still being nice.” All three of them had shit-eating grins. Could these three stooges be any less intelligent?
“I’ll pass; if anything, I will offer all three of you up to that wolf girl you’re trying to take advantage of.” My hand pointing towards the table, I saw the girl look at me with a conflicted expression.
“Offer us up to her; what are you talking about?”
“Hehehe…” I watch on as they all look at me weirdly. “It’s a very big issue if you look so down on me like this!”
“Why do you keep laughing like a crazy bitch?” one of them asked.
“That’s because I am crazy, and I was just thinking about how amazing it would be to offer up your lives to my soon-to-be second in command.”
“Second in command, are you from the army or something?”
“Or something, to be exact, I’m your executioner. But I won’t kill you myself unless she doesn’t want to do it.” I smile viciously while staring down at the three men. “So… how about it, do you wish to come with me and mess this world up?” My eyes locking on the girl who was trying to speak but the man’s hand was still clamping tightly on her mouth.
The tension in the air was palpable as not a word was spoken for a good while as she contemplated her decision. Not even the men in the room spoke as they also looked at her.
“Ahhhhh!” Blood gushed out of the man’s hand as it was munched on causing him to quickly jump back, freeing himself from her grasp.
“Can you really get me out of here?” The cute, feminine, raspy voice of the wolf girl hits me right in the feels as I instantly fell in love with it.
“Of course, but you will have to come under my rule and become the second most badass female in the world. I plan to bring chaos and kill off all the humans who annoy me.” I give her a toothy grin showing off my fangs, “Just so you know, I’m no human. My race is vampire, and I think I’m the first of my kind.”
