DSS v0.7 beta released!
🕑 Added 2024-02-25 04:38:10 +0000 UTC*DSS v0.71 beta hotfix
- Fixed an error where the spawn list could not be scrolled all the way down.
The new beta of DSS is here. After this update, I will no longer consider producing a playable version and will focus on development for release. In the future, I will reveal the development progress through photos and videos!
Major updates:
Roulette Mode: A game mode where necklaces decrease depending on your choices.
Rescue Mode: A game mode where you rescue someone from the sea.
These new modes are in their early stages. Various gimmicks and stages will be added, so please look forward to it!
Lighting: The lighting environment has been completely overhauled. Characters and environments will appear with cleaner colors.
Map improvements: The terrain of Yard and Pool maps has been improved.
Physics: Improved physics stability and force application.
Buoyancy: Changed the way buoyancy is applied to be more realistic. However, it is still unclear whether it will fit in with the game. Please give me various opinions!
New Characters: Characters that appear in the game modes above are also added to the simulation! (Madison, Sakura)
And many other big and small updates!
Many people are curious about what the final version of DSS will be like. It's a natural question because I've never really said anything about it. Rather than hastily saying something in the early stages of development, I thought it would be better to think about it a little more and tell you when it becomes clear. As I worked hard developing DSS, I learned about the possibilities and limitations of what this game can do. Also, because it would be a very long article to tell you all about future content, etc., I will post the development plan over several times in the future.

Wonderful game! Best game like this ever! There are some problems though in the chamber environment: only short drop game works as expected, girls and devices are too close to the wall in the other games, the long drop is also in the wrong direction.

Hello, i love the game and i think its very well made and i have some suggestions that i can give to you. First, it would be amazing if you could expand the strangle device, for example: 2 hands, rear choke and so on. Second, i think that a punch device or some new features would be nice to see, and while we are at it you could add some sounds when you use those new devices on the characters. Last but certanly not least, new maps and more customization for the simulation would make the game way nicer To summarize, i dont expect everything to be added and i think the game is in a very good state but i think it would make the game alot better if you added some of these suggestions to the game. I tested the A.I. and Let them stand there on Gallows and just let them stand to see if they could. Kotori, Fubuki, Kanako, Manami and Madison could all stand fine. Sakura walked straight off the edge (they died from it) and Azusa just flopped onto the floor. I guess some of them don't have the AI to stand up yet or keep steady enough. I used the long roped Gallows. if this site allows photo I have one for context on the test.

I like the new water much much better! It feels heavier, the buoyancy is more significant but even with it rising is slower; it feels much more realistic and 'weighty.' I also am very fond of the new pool area. It has a lot of variety and good lighting; very clean and simple. I am not very fond of the new yard; it is I might be strange, but I preferred the first yard the most of all of them. I appreciate how you are always working towards integrating systems over time. Thank you for the update!

I guess I can see that. Having ran discords before for WoW guilds, I get it. Sometimes my raiders make me wanna scorch earth the damn thing sometimes. I just really like having community discords for games I enjoy since they act as hubs of common interest. That and discord pings just get to me far quicker than anything else for updates. I'll miss it. Regardless, keep up the good work as I'm loving the game <3. Best update so far!

Can I ask deep waterpool's buoyancy different from shallow waterpool is intended? In deep waterpool, characters in no lung oxygen saturation are doesn't sink.

Pleasant to see how DSS is looking more and more like it should. It's quite a good setup already. Just speaking for myself - if there were idling ainimations for characters (sitting, walking, swimming randomly etc.) would be good using the existing in-game animations. And certainly looking forward to VRM importer you announced before. But that's just lyrics. It's already a wholesome game in development, like a tree growing up more and more leaves. Looking forward to updates!!!

This is realy amazing. very well done. I had a idea while playing it: since its a "experimental" setup, it would be realy nice to chose the type of noose (belt, thin rope, thick rope, classic knot etc.) and the position of the knot. Also (mabe) add a function, where she can put it on herself.

The game appears to have severe Screen Tearing issue since version 0.6. I have tried to turn on the Vertical Synchronization on my nvidia control panel but it does't fix it...

It isn't realistic the way it's shown. Models (without wheights) stay at a specific depth after sinking and that's not how it works. Also, if you wish to apply some realism, I suggest you make sinking dependant on the lung volume and not the oxygen saturation which has no influence in buoyancy in real life. But if you do that, you'll have to change the behaviour about breathing, because some models floating will breath in more and breath out less to avoid sinking.

Also one more bit of feedback - the water in the pools appears too viscous. Subjects sink too slowly and their arms are pushed above their heads many times.

Hello - the spawn list is broken. It seems that the dimensions of the box have not been updated so now with the new characters added the Rope B and Rope C options for restrains leg have been cut off making it so that they cannot be selected. Also just a small bit of feedback - it would be nice if we could change the outfit of the new models. Thanks.

1. There is an electric chair error. If you erase it with the Madison character and then create it again, a ragdoll error occurs. 2. I hope the barefoot quality is better in the official version. 3. Are you going to add toenail color during the formal ceremony? 4. It would be nice to add a tickling system as well.

Adding a custom importer to DSS requires a lot of upfront work. That feature will be added in the full release version!
