Next, news related to DSS. I really thought a lot about my development skills and the future direction of DSS.
First of all, regarding the development period, I plan to release the final beta in October and December. Afterwards, I will prepare for the Steam release. I am aiming for release in the first half of next year.
Next, regarding the structure of the game, I reconsidered the direction. Like the betas currently available, development will focus on sandbox mode. However, the story is told through clearing minigame stages. This is why minigames were suddenly added to the recent beta, and why I have been focusing on minigame development recently. Considering my current development skills and time, I decided that it would be difficult to develop a more in-depth story progression method. As you progress through the stages, you can unlock new stories, devices, and various tools.
DSS will be released as a paid game on Steam, but a free demo will be available on Steam or itch.io. The free demo allows you to enjoy a sandbox mode, but unfortunately only some minigames are playable.
There is a long way to go. But I was able to come this far thanks to your support and encouragement! Every time I hear warm words of encouragement, I know that I am on the right path. Even if there are some problems, I will try my best not to disappoint you. Thank you for always!
