Owen spoke from between his brother’s legs, a hand on the back of his knees to keep him elevated as he continued wiping Austin clean. Baby wipes, or big brother wipes, were exchanged for fresh ones after a couple of passes, prompting the bigger fox to grunt or wiggle in protest to the chill of the fabric. As in most things, he was being careful and thorough, and Austin’s squirming only made his brother’s job more difficult than it needed to be.
Not that he cared too much.
“Yeah dude, of course. Just waiting on Summer to send me the address when she gets out of friggin’… pep squad, or whatever she does.” Austin, as ever, showed no signs of being uncomfortable or embarrassed by the process. Owen had been helping change his diapers since his overworked dad had been able to finagle some of the responsibilities off on his younger son, typically with dinner bribes. He kept his knees bent and his legs back, feet up in the air, and eyes on his phone screen while Owen wiped his butt. “Are you nervous?”
“Dude no, why would I be nervous? It’s just a dumb party.” The younger fox scowled at the question as if it was an accusation, gingerly pulling Austin’s absolutely soaked diaper out from under him, balling it up with an expression of disgust, and lugging it into the trash can with a heavy, wet thud.
The silence that followed was almost tangible, interrupted only by the crinkle of Austin’s fresh diaper as Owen used both hands to unfold it. He could feel his big brother’s eyes on him, narrow and searching, framed on either side by his lifted feet.
“… Okay, yeah, I’m a little nervous. I’m a freshman man, it’s my first party.”
“Don’t be a dumbass, you had parties in high school.” Austin laughed and stuck one of his feet in Owen’s face in response, prompting the younger fox to grimace and bat him away. He settled back down, entirely unhelpful as Owen pushed his legs back once more to raise his butt and slip the fresh diaper under his hips. “I know what you mean, though. I was a little nervous too. The first… y’know-“
“Party party.”
The words came in unison, making them both snicker.
“Yeah. But if they put up with you, I guess I should be fine. Friggin’ diaper boy.” Owen’s teasing made Austin snort, pulling his foot back again like he was going to boot him in the nose, but he relented. Positioning Austin’s diaper was always a fussy task for Owen, but he managed after a couple of tries, and fed his tail through the hole in the seat before dusting powder over his big brother’s backside.
“Keep talkin’ shit, bro. You’ll see. The girls love the diapers.” Austin’s attention had migrated back to his phone screen, so Owen’s eye-rolling went mostly unnoticed. Finally, he brought his brother’s bottom down into the seat of his diaper, encouraging him to keep his legs spread.
The last bit was easy, especially when Austin laid still. Owen meticulously pulled the front of the diaper up between his legs, and spread the wings over his brother’s belly. Each side was carefully wrapped up and taped shut, then tugged to ensure it was perfectly straight and comfortable.
“Whatever you say, dude.”
