Are you able to catch an error message? Testing on Mac is difficult for us but we will try with some substantial hints.

MAC version crashes every time I try to open. I have tried with the patch and the full version.

The main time I've had crashes was when using an older save. Too many things were changed with the naming that it would crash constantly. Other than that (since starting over) I've had one other crash in Owls apartment as she was getting into the tub. I hit ignore, it went back to the scene and crashed again, I hit ignore 2 more times then it progressed normally.
