I was pleasantly surprised you reacted to this, because I had a feeling you’d love it. I really appreciated what you said at the end about music being magical, because I feel like there is this beautiful, spiritual side to music, that feels supernatural, and makes you feel alive. I didn't expect to see this one here, but I'm so glad you watched it. This was my personal favorite film of last year. Sitting in a dark theater and watching that scene with the different eras of black music and culture washing over you was so unexpected and pure cinema magic.
