This is one of my absolute favourite movies of all time. I love that it doesn't engage in the white saviour trope ... Wang Chi is the hero; Jack Burton the idiot sidekick. And for being one of the very, very few films made in the 80's that doesn't punch down on Asian culture. It holds up incredibly well.
