Over the past few days, I've been helping my allies become accustomed to one another. Initially, the two seemed to get along quite well. Having saved both of them, I suspected they felt a deep sense of gratitude towards me, which led to their amicable coordination.
However, it appears I grossly underestimated the extent of their gratitude. Upon seeing me "treat" the black blade, Blaidd immediately became jealous and insisted on joining the affair. I suppose this makes sense, considering our status together.
I chose to indulge both of them, expecting they would turn into docile puppies once events were set in motion. Instead, they grew angrier and more competitive! A wicked part of me did find the entire situation somewhat endearing at first, but...
Now I'm caught between these two beasts, as they hurl empty threats at each other, each claiming that I solely belong to them. T-this would be fine, but I only have one hole, and it's being pushed to the limits! Rather than becoming the playmate to my cherished pups, I've turned into some chew toy for a pair of feral beasts! I guess I've become so used to the two of them that I forgot just how powerful and fearsome they actually were. Where's that damn mimic when I need him!?
