Patreon payment

No matter what i try Patreon just isnt accepting my card. It works fine elsewhere, like Steam. I don't know what to do. I already sent a support ticket two days ago.

Had to renew my membership with a new card cause the old one died. Now patreon keeps declining it. I'll keep trying.

I also got this issue and contacted the support with all of my infos but they just kept saying 'please provide these infos' and shi* I contacted my credit card company and bank to tell them there was no problem with transaction but patreon just disabled my account and they refunded every thing I bought so I had to make another account like this damn those support team

It hit me too, but routing the transaction through PayPal strangely fixed it

I guess it's from Patreon moving their payment processing location (country, specifically). I had to clear the usual Patreon charge as non-fraud with my bank TWICE, even though I've been supporting creators here for well over a year. Really weird. Anyway, if you don't have a credit card company/bank that contacts you via text/email for suspected fraud charges and allows you to reply to clear them, you'll have to contact them to make it clear the Patreon charge isn't fraud before the Retry button will work and process your pledges.

They moved to the UK and regular banks will block sudden out of country charges... just call the bank.

you're right.. paypal payments are A.OK but US credit cards are now an issue... hope they fix that ASAP

Apparently there shouldn't be much problems with paypal payments, but credit cards is where the problem resides.

I got the receipt from PayPal this morning, so waiting for my bank statement to update. But didn't get anything declining yet.

Let's hope it does. This was kinda weird, i always lost a lot of pledgers at the end of the month, but this time was just something else.

As far as friends had told me, it's because patron changed to the UK, so US credit cards don't go oversea, but paypal payment does.

Yeah I saw people mention they were unable to send their payments, I heard Patreon had an update of sorts that was screwing with their pledges. Guess I was one of the lucky ones

I'm glad mine all went through, at least.

Dunno what went wrong. My payment got declined last night and i just pushed it through again. Hopefully you got my pledge ;) cause my bank says it went through this time lol
