February Token Ideas
🕑 Added 2023-01-23 14:30:12 +0000 UTCHey everybody. If you are still with me I appreciate you being here. I have a couple ideas for February and I am happy to hear any feedback or ideas. I post regularly on Discord but I'm not great about posting here on a weekly basis. I'm sorry for that I'm not great at writing.
I was thinking of going with a Dwarf theme for the fantasy side of things. Commoners and a King and perhaps a royal guard. Merchants and a few children if I can make them look right.
On the sci-fi side I was thinking of making tokens in the Post-Apoc setting like "The Last of Us" relatively modern, with a more northern feel. Heavier clothing, jackets and some face protecting for the variants. It would be 4 base tokens dressed up in a couple different ways.
Please feel free to post any ideas you have. If a lot of you want to move back to having polls again I will gladly go that route. I haven't written that option off and I am sure there will still be polls when I get several ideas from Patrons and I need all of you to decide the best choice.

There is also a TON of cowboy / steampunk crossover stuff, so if you edged your cowboy / sci-fi assets towards a steampunk look, they could be used for a LOT of purposes. OR.. you could just provide piles of assets and let people kitbash their own stuff. ;) ..speaking of which, I've forgotten to use my Token Vault codes for about 6 months again. :'(

I touched on this a bit with the Cowboy pack. I have the parts, it's mostly kitbashing more tokens with a touch of sci-fi elements. I'm sure you will see them popping up.

I'd like more sci-fi tokens like in Firefly. They'd look more like western characters, but give them laser pistols, a cyber limb, a tech gadget here and there. They could double as post-apoc or near future.

I like the dwarf idea! Otherwise I can always use some undead versions of common beasts and monsters.

I hadn't considered it until you said it, but I really like the post apocalypse idea. They'd work really well for Twilight 2000.
