I started this commission a while ago, but I couldn't finish it due to my high expectations and lack of experience. I didn't know what to do or how can I make this picture look better... But my commissioner gave me a lot of time to finish it, so I like the result!
I can't find earlier version than this one, but someone advised me AI background earlier and it looked really meh (some purple-green "forest" instead of sky). Then I just tried to simplify it. I think I changed the bg like 3 or 4 times? Jewelry looked bad, some places were rough, and I also didn't like the hair color, and color palette in general. I really wanted to make this work more neat and complicated than I usually draw but I was unhappy with the results because I'm not that good yet. And after some time I finally changed everything I didn't like, and that's it, it took sooo much time to make it look like this (even if these changes seem unnecessary or minor). There is a lot of changes I can do in process, that's why I don't really like step by steps and speedpaints.
