Happy New Year! 2019 Changes and Plans
🕑 Added 2019-01-01 05:13:09 +0000 UTCI know this is late but happy belated Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Thank you all for your support this year! I hope you enjoyed/are enjoying the holidays. The holidays has been a pretty comfy time for me and I'm seriously completely recharged for 2019!
I want to take this time to reflect and announce my plans for 2019! Let's talk about changes to my Patreon rewards first:
- $1 - Access to WIPs & Vote in Fanart Polls
- $5 - Full-Res Uncensored Illustrations
- $10 - PSD and CLIP Files & Suggest Fanart Sketches (chosen randomly, monthly)
Basically I switched $1 and $5 rewards. $1 for uncensored version is cheap and accessible sure, but I want to make a little more from it, to be completely honest. I believe $5 is fair, considering I will be drawing multiple NSFW illustrations per month.
And yes, the Fanart Polls are coming back! This is a bit different from the previous one though: I will be deciding which characters are going to the poll and you guys vote who gets drawn. I actually want to capitalize on trending characters and series because I want to grow my Patreon. That means I also want to refocus my Patreon towards only NSFW illustrations.
I'm sounding like a sellout and it's true. This might alienate some of you... But I want to be completely transparent and honest with you guys: I need money. Turns out, having money makes you secured and gives you access to so many things, sometimes, money can even buy happiness, or at least one form of happiness. I don't like struggling with money, nobody does, and if I want to make my Patreon become more successful, I need to look at what's working and what's not.
Obviously a big problem last year was I undertook eroge dev which divided my energy and attention, but I also didn't advertise as much as I could and I kind of limited myself to the type of content I drew (Neps, Wiz) I'm obviously still going to draw them because I really love them, but I need to be open to other series and characters as well.
Speaking of Eroge, if you follow me on twitter you might have seen that tweet that I started a collab project. Production will start soon on that project and updates will be posted over on twitter. But it is designed to be a small and manageable project so it won't get in the way of my Patreon commitments, it's just a little fun side project for me. I learned things the hard way last year but I still love making eroges so I'm not throwing the towel just yet. Thanks to failures last year, I know how to deal with eroge development a little better now :3
I removed the process videos because I don't really like doing them. I might do some process/step by step images once in a blue moon, I just don't want to put it in the rewards unless I'm absolutely certain that I can do them on a regular basis. I'm sorry if you're looking forward to those, but I don't want to be in a situation where I'm fighting myself while working.
A new addition to $10 though is Fanart Sketches. The way this will work is every month I'll post a Sketch Post for $10 Patrons where they will be able to comment 1 character of their choosing for me to sketch. At the beginning of the next month, I'll choose 3-5 from the suggestions randomly to sketch. Obviously, these will be sketches not full illustrations. At most it would be a bust/waist up sketch with maybe some basic coloring. If you reeeeally want me to draw a full illustration for you, hit me up with a commission and we'll go from there.

Hey no worries man. I am open for commissions, though I haven't made a commission page just yet. I only mentioned it there because some people might be interested in a full illustration and not just sketches. Hope that clears it up.

I did not really understand the commission point. Are you open for commissions or if there is enough demands you will open it? (Sorry for mistakes if mistakes were made, english is not my mother tongue).
