Story Time: Chiseld No More - Part 2

David made their way to the Pfatter U Dining Hall. He nearly fell once, leaning into David’s huge, softened love handle to regain his balance. They were both so huge and pillowy now, he couldn’t believe they use to run laps at practice together. Now just the idea of running was tiring him out.
The aroma of freshly-baked cookies and oven-warmed pizza greeted them when they opened the doors to dining hall. David and Benji instinctively rubbed their expansive bellies out of sheer hunger, and waddled over load up their trays.
Seated at the table (in heavily-reinforced chairs), they happily stuffed their faces with pasta and pizza, eyeing the soft-serve machine and pastry buffet for the next course. Benji couldn’t believe how much his appetite had increased along with his body fat. He felt like he could eat two more trays of this delicious food, easily.
“Is increased appetite a side effect of that machine?” he asked David.
“Funny enough, no. But they do put appetite stimulants in the entrees to ensure we have room for dessert,” he replied, laughing. “I’ve actually gained fifty more pounds since I hooked up to the Thickening Machine, in only about a month. You can see why.”
Benji smiled, his mouth full of French fries. Suddenly, his phone buzzed on the table. He looked down and saw a text from his roommate back at Chiseld College.
hey Benj, I think I might ask Olivia out. hope that’s cool
A new feeling filled the pit of Benji’s stomach: anger. How could Tim think it was okay to ask out his ex? Sure, they had ended on good terms, but it’s the principle of the thing. Olivia wouldn’t even be interested in Tim, he was way too self-obsessed, spending more time in the gym than most Chiseld students - half of it just admiring himself in the mirror.
He considered his options as he continued to shovel pasta into his mouth. As he reached down to where his tight pecs once were to wipe some marinara off his soft chest, an idea occurred to him.
“Hey David, mind if I invite my friend Tim to come visit?”

Tim had never been to Pfatter University, but he knew its reputation. He was surprised a college full of fatasses would even have a gym, but when his roommate invited him over for a workout, he figured he’d give it a try. He knew Benji’s friend David was on the baseball team, and student athletes usually had access to all the best equipment. Tim had dreams of joining the rowing team at Chiseld, but never made the cut. His failure only made him work out more obsessively - and he considered his physique his greatest asset.
He showed up to the fitness center and made his way to a room in the back, as Benji had instructed. This must be where the student athletes worked out. When he opened the door, he was surprised by how small the room was, a single machine taking up a whole wall. In front of the machine stood two obese guys around his age. No way they were here to work out.
The enormous redhead began to speak, “So…”
“Sorry, big boy,” Tim interrupted. “I’m here to meet my roommate Benji and his friend David. Have you seen two baseball players around? They weigh like … three hundred pounds less than you?”
David grabbed Benji’s arm, smiling, then responded, “I think I did, they went out for a run but will probably be back soon. We work here at the fitness center, and since you’re a guest, we just need to get some baseline vitals before you start working out.”
Tim was intrigued. “Yeah I guess that makes sense. Blood oxygen levels, stuff like that? Kind of like Orange Theory?”
“Something like that,” Benji said through his teeth. He stepped over to the control panel.
“Step right over there,” David instructed.
Tim nodded, flexing his biceps for the two rotund guys. “Bet you don’t have a lot of guys around here with definition like this.” The glow of the machine illuminated his lithe, muscular body as he smiled and waited. “Now what, fatties?”
Benji tensed up. I’ll show you a fatty. He hit the “up” arrow on the control panel a few more times for good measure, then flipped the “on” switch.
He watched Tim’s eyes open wide as his chin started to droop and inflate with fat. His thighs ballooned to three times their previous size, trading definition for cellulite. His belly surged forward as it filled with a hundred pounds of pure flab, erasing his abs and knocking him off-balance. His arms shot out as they expanded rapidly, and as he grabbed the machine to steady himself, the hundreds of extra pounds crashed him hard to the floor. His round love handles grew extra rolls, and his belly button grew deeper as his sagging belly pooled into his lap. His chubby cheeks and fatter brow caused obscured his vision, the two fat “gym employees” visible through only a squint.
“Wha - what happened?” he managed to utter, his double chin rippling with each syllable.
David was shocked. He’d grown far fatter than Benji had only hours earlier. “Did you mess with the machine?” he whispered to his friend.
“Maybe a little,” Benji said, winking. He watched the mountain of fat that was once an aspiring rower as it flexed its arms once more, showing only his deflated biceps and sagging fat wings. Benji quickly snapped a photo of the new Tim.
The mountain of blubber spoke again, “Hey, hey guys … I think the machine is broken.” He belched loudly, a look of relief and amusement washing over his face.
As Benji typed away on his phone, struggling a bit with his fatter thumbs, he looked up. “No, Tim, it’s working just fine.”
He finished the message: hey Liv, Big Tim here wants to ask you out on a date. you down? He attached the photo, smirking, and hit send.

The end of this read a little cruel but I can totally see how some guys would be like that. :-/
