Lancer character ref sheet WIPs
🕑 Added 2024-05-08 01:51:10 +0000 UTCSo I've got a bunch of finished pieces to show you guys that I need to get posted, but first I thought I'd give you guys a "useable preview" of a project I started working on a bit on-and-off. I'm taking a whack at making proper ref sheets for a bunch of Lancer characters. It started with me wanting to make some sheets for Mika, Iva and Priss because I was getting frustrated with all the random images I'd have to reference from my art folder when I needed to draw their spots (even worse when people asked me for ref images for their own fan art!). It was fun though and I ended up doing them for a bunch of characters including our main character pilots.
Eventually I want to add a clothing layer and make a nicely formatted presentation with swatches, important detail notes, etc. for each character, but I'm eager to share with you what I've got so far, especially since I know some of you like making and commissioning fan art of my characters. I also did a new height lineup because my last one was a few years old. It's very helpful for me to be able to have a consistent reference for what the characters' heights, proportions and body types are!

Man, these look Great! Now… I’m terrified of what the Droghari Horde’s dinos, lizards and reptiles will look like if you plan to do something similar like these ref sheets… without their clothes O.O
