What's next?
🕑 Added 2023-11-15 13:48:29 +0000 UTCI finally set up my todos for the next update 0.7.0. This was very difficult for me this time because there are so many ideas that need to be ordered by priority. And I'm sure I won't be able to realize everything until the next update, because I don't want to keep you waiting too long.
So here are my planned todos for v0.7.0:
After the graphics experienced a big update now, it's time to further develop the game mechanics and create more content. As some of you may have read on Discord, I am planning to implement time as a new element.
There will be a time flow during the day, which will give the game more structure and the player more orientation. For example, you will have to go to sleep to end the day and start the next. This gives the possibility to have things happen at different times and also creates the option to make dates with girls later.
I have read from comments that many feel the game is too grinding-heavy. I think that's normal for a young project when it doesn't have much content yet.
But now that the content of the game has grown a bit, I've decided in a first step to remove the mechanic for unlocking tasks and story chapters! These will automatically become available when you reach a certain amount of favor points and build on each other. Since this will determine the story progression with the girls, I will rename favor to relation. I think that sounds more appropriate.
In addition, I definitely want to add a new story chapter to the game to have more action with Hannah.
I'm also starting to write code to add more girls to the game in the near future.
