The girl had discovered the the bank heist in progress by way of an inconveniently (or all too conveniently!) wall shared by the vault and the sewer tunnels.
The blasted water main leak gave it away. The job was supposed to go unnoticed until it was too late, but this nosy snoop just had to come investigating.
Hannah fought for all she was worth, but it was no use. Her attacker eclipsed her weight and strength immensely. The whole ordeal was terrifying.
