Much like a dog that vomits, and then later, the dog will go to where it had — and this is true, I’ve seen a little pup do this believe it or not. It will vomit, and then it will … well, ok first it tries to eat it up. The spew — it tries to eat it. It actually — not just try. It will actually eat it if you don’t stop it. But after it tries or actually eats it up, much like a dog will return to the place where it vomited… wait, no, much like a dog will return to a place it pooped before — because, and humans do this too, they’ll tend to poop around the same place and time of the day. So, much like that — like a dog returns to a place where it poops — or where it pees, and perhaps where it vomits, I’m not sure. Much like that, I keep listening to this episode over and over, on different days. But it’s not because it’s poop. Maybe this was a bad metaphor. I like listening to the same episode on different days. This episode, specifically.

Genuine question, you know the recurring bit where Mark says something wrong and then Broden bullies him mercilessly for it? Is that just an entertaining podcast bit played up for laughs, or is that genuinely Mark and Broden’s relationship off mic as well?

Listening to Mark plow through summarizing the crucifixion made me think that you guys should do a Patreon bit where Mark has like 30 minutes to prepare a sermon based on the bible. Also, Sicilians could be argued to be Normans/Vikings. They also have some influence from the Muslim conquest of Sicily. In addition, before the Romans took the island, Sicily was fairly Greek. Not saying Mark is any/all of these things--the history is just interesting.
