Such a good twist or two throughout, eh? And yeah, I know some (including myself) that have held off on grief like that, too. But yeah, the fact that we “know less” of what Nowak is thinking makes the scene work that much more - the power of understatement! Also, Hugs to you! Jolenta’s gloves and that scene! WAS it a mistake to give her room to grow? Tis the question! And Antoni is such a spiteful turd indeed! I agree 100% with your terms there. Thank you so much for the comment and no worries on the length! My mother has really gotten into sourdough making lately, so that sounds amazing! And thank you for the well wishes; it should be a fun holiday and I hope yours is as well!

This was a great episode with a wild twist! A few of them! I can absolutely relate to not grieving over a death. I’m still working on that! I can only imagine what Nowak is thinking and feeling. I wonder if he blames himself. Or does he blame God. I absolutely feel great sympathy for him. A very complicated character for sure! I love Jolenta’s gloves! Nowak’s mistake was the room he gave her to grow up. I do think he is a wonderful father and a crappy inquisitor. I mean, he’s good at his shitty job…. Oh man, Antoni is a bitch! What a spiteful turd! Yeah, hypocrisy, jealousy and ambition is who he is. Looking forward to the next episode! Keeping it short because trying to catch up and cooking in between episodes! I baked some sourdough bread, came out beautifully! Make some cold sesame sauce for noodles and stir fried eggplant with garlic sauce. We are also getting ready for the thanksgiving week to come!
