Here I was, thinking that Yoshiki and Hikaru were going to have some communication between each other...but...we're....not ready for that yet!
Instead, Yoshiki takes a much more dramatic approach and my heart was in my stomach the entire time watching this episode -- these two need hugs! And to know how they are literally each other's anchors!

Yoshiki was throwing up ALLLLL the red flags! Yes! *screams* Poor Monster!Hikaru had no idea what to make of it, but at least he noticed something was "off," which speaks a lot! Ugh, and that description of Hikaru being the puppy that is trying to cheer up their owner is soooo good - and also darkly hilarious when Hikaru is basically the monster and Yoshiki is afraid he'll hurt someone! Hikaru behaved a little bit like a dog that thinks the owner is sad and gives them their favourite toy because they think the human will feel better thanks to it

Maybe I missed you saying it or I did get it wrong in the first place. But Hikaru’s and Yoshiki’s fathers used to work together, right? And the new guy is replacing Hikaru’s dad.
