The body horror of being smothered by those brains is so creepy! I love that description you put on here! Thank you for noting it that way! 😀 That is a great note about our perceptions of the world are all so different! Yeah, that’s a fair point that it could go really wrong and hurt Yoshiki and Hikaru barely knows how to function in the body he’s in…so yeah, he’s all eager-beaver, and Yoshiki is like, “Let’ssssss hang on a second.” XD Thank you for the link! That brain movie definitely would have freaked me out as a kid! Then again, that wasn’t hard (It’s not hard now; I’m easily scared hahaha) – Oohhh, I would have been all about the Jet Black Wings apron, too! Alas!! The Wig Ghost was a NOPE for sure - I’m glad Kaoru did not keep quiet about it - girl is smarter than she initially may appear, thankfully! Brains! Those brain people are horrible. I can only imagine being smothered by one. Body horror for sure! One thing I always think about is how people perceive the world… with our senses that give information to our brains! We are our brains. 🧠 so brain people it is, faces and all. How can we be sure that we really see the world just like the other people? We have blind people, deaf people, color blind people and people with differing neurological conditions. I say all this because brains keep coming up in this episode. Somewhat. Our minds are manifestation of nerve impulses that we experience in our brains. We basically experience sex in our minds. It’s no wonder Hikaru wants to touch Yoshiki’s brain, it’s what makes him, him! It could also damage Yoshiki if he did manage to touch his mind! You mentioned mind melds, I’m sure there are depictions of them going wrong and the person ends up with a lobotomy. I think one of the differences that I can "feel" between Hikaru and "Hikaru" is that "Hikaru" is more... careful? around Yoshiki than the original one? It hard for me to explain, but the original Hikaru wasn't afraid of losing Yoshiki. "Hikaru" is more unsure of his position in Yoshikis life, more scared about Yoshiki leaving him or hating him. He is a lot more desperate than og. Og Hikaru didn't have a reason to be scared about losing Yoshiki as his friend, thats why in the flashback with Crowly he was a lot more bold with his behavior towards Yoshiki, when "Hikaru" tries to take everything on himself so Yoshiki would not hate and leave him.
