So excited for the start of a new series! They certainly do throw a lot at you in this first episode don’t they? Good thing whiteboard-kun is here to help us sort it out. ;P Middle aged Hua Cheng vibes is such a funny way to put it! Loved your descriptions of Yan Wushi this episode! 😆 And I agree, in a genre that’s filled with young pretty boys, or people who look like that no matter their age, it’s quite refreshing to see someone like Yan Wushi with a more mature looking design. I can definitely see what you mean with the beauty and the beast comparison. I’ve sometimes thought of them as a bit of an angel demon pairing. Twink disciple: SQ’s sect isn’t looking for him.
