Thank you so much for the comment and kind words - the two-parter is SO GOOD! One of my favorites! I’ll take that indirect kiss and Matoba’s expressions were just amazing! Everyone has been animated amazingly this season so far! Natsume becoming a mediator and yokai therapist? I would love that for him as a career and so proud of him, too! Yes, these episodes were loaded with themes and content and continuations of dialogue from seasons past. And yessss, privilege and burden as two sides of a coin! Love it! Madara was DONE with the exorcists in this set! I really enjoy watching him anytime Matoba and his posse are around! Thank you and I’m excited for this coming week!

Loved the reaction and discussion! What an amazing two-parter! 🥰 I think it definitely counts as an indirect kiss. 😆 Also loved the sulky!Matoba impressions. I think now by season 7 Natsume is clearly growing into even more than the role of mediator – well on his way to being a yokai therapist. So proud of Natsume. 🥰 Loads of excellent themes in the discussion as we had two really rich episodes. But especially I loved the presentation here of the way ‘privilege’ and ‘burden’ can be two sides of the same coin - the way Natsume is free, Matoba is not. And I got so much of irritated-and-over-it!Madara looking at exorcists... very happy, very pleased, I don’t ask for much. 😆 Looking forward to next week! 💙
