Hey folks, Kuro here! This is a deleted scene from this Saturday's video where Ash draws the Reboot Ultimate Forms.
Over the episodes, there's been a handful of jokes about Ash making a terrible pun, sometimes where I would contribute with a reaction shot. I put one together for this episode, but after watching a rough draft of the video, I'm deleting it for two reasons:
1. There's already another forth-wall-breaking joke in this section revolved around editing barely 30 seconds later, so these two jokes having the same set-up and being so close together doesn't work.
2. It's more convoluted that I would've liked. The joke is to show myself setting up the edit to have Ash's joke be accompanied by cricket sounds - a classic. So once you watch me add that in, then I play the clip, you're expecting the cricket sounds, but instead, get the fish from SpongeBob. It was fun to make, but it's not as funny as I thought it'd be.
