Hey folks, Kuro here! You read that title right - we're very close to finishing up the episode. While we'd still like to hold off on releasing it so we can pair it with Episode 13 and 14, we may drop an extended preview here soon to tide you over.
I'm very excited to drop this episode, as it's the last episode that will have its chapter previously released (which was nearly three years ago :0). But it's also the one with the most changes. Back when I was making Chapter 12, I didn't get to put as much love and care into it as I did the previous chapters, and while I'm still proud of the artwork, the writing just wasn't there. This Episode will have a lot of substantial changes to the dialogue, be it extending scenes, re-wording scenes, or cutting them out complexly.
The hardest cut I've made so far was this panel.
Artistically, it's probably my favorite panel of the whole chapter. But the dialogue didn't work for the Motion Comic. Rather than trying to make it work, I cut Divinity's line completely, and the scene flows a lot better for it. Though sadly, that means this artwork was gonna get cut, too.
However, I'm going to use it as the thumbnail instead!
That way, it still gets to be featured somewhere, but I don't have to keep Divinity's clunky dialogue just to show off the art.
We'll have more juicy updates soon, but for now, catch our exclusive stream this August 1st, where Ash and I will be working on more Ink Tank Trading Cards. But until then, Keep it Fizzy!
