Maybe on some of the Ben transformations you could add some motion blur. Like the one with Four Arms. That could have a little motion blur to show some sort of movement?

Or maybe have the cover as a background like blurred behind the artwork. That would look nice.

I say go for a little more of an artistic thumbnail considering the fact that the covers of the actual comics are also very artistic. It will do justice to the tone of each comic chapter and the type of story your gonna be telling, these seems way too average and basic and not very engaging. Just my two cents.
