So it's been a busy weekend with the public release of V0.13.01 (Chapter 3: Mystery Girl)! Overall it appears things have been going smoothly for the release - however as a reminder for potential troubleshooting, if you do encounter any errors please use an older save marked at these points here:
After this warning the town overlay for Day 1 character selection will appear. Everything should function after this point moving onward!
With that, let's chat about what's next on the schedule!
Work on Chapter 3: Ms.Rider has begun, and renders are coming through. As she is more a side character, her content will have a little less exposition (but equal amounts of lewdness!) - we'll see how that turns out!
For the release I am also aiming to include Sybella's content as well. I have good idea of the storyboarding, and excited to get started on everyone's favorite glib witch and lean a bit more into the magical and fantastic elements of the story!
For voting events, I am planning to do some outfit selections in the upcoming future! I'll need to organize things a little further before putting the polls out in the wild!
I will continue with the how releases are in the meanwhile - but I am looking at changing how some of the coding will work to make adding new content more streamlined and less of a cumbersome ordeal. As the game grows in size I would rather not require fans and players to download the entire game every time.
The current solution to address this involves a fair bit of copy, pasting, navigating explorer, and overwriting files, which can be a bit fiddly at the best of times. I would like to improve upon this so that it is a simple extract into the folder and play - so fingers cross. This is something I would like to look at for Chapter 4 as the next opportunity to pop the hood and fiddle with the innards.
More details to come with that closer to the Chapter 4 end. In the meanwhile, keep your eyes posted for the weekly updates for Ms. Rider and (hopefully) Sybella!
