sort of. As you might know I've been working on a graphic novel for the last few years and for the last year we've been working on issue 5 (it's like... hyper detailed, really complicated, kind of insane and I've been working on it between my other dayjob in advertising) BUT I finished the first pass of the artwork for it on saturday night. The last week or so has been a full on "burning the candle at both ends" session and it's left me with severe RSI and bags under my eyes big enough to carry a month's luggage so I'm taking a couple of days to try and rest (something I'm not good at)
That said, I spotted some Strathmore Bristol Board (it's paper) in a local shop and decided to buy some - it's flipping expensive so this evening I sat and knocked out a couple of rough sketch studies in my sketchbook so I don't waste any of the bristol board. ....and I've got so say, I'm pretty happy with them, especially the first slide. I actually did that one second but it's the better artwork so I'm showing it first... if you follow me? đ
I really love the lifedrawing work of James Martin and Daniel Maidman, and these drawings didn't turn out too horrible so there might be some more "traditional" drawings flying around soon.
ALSO - there's a website I've seen popping up among other NSFW artists called WaifuLoot. It's like merch for us spicy people so I'm going to look into that and see what it takes to get a page setup and HOPEFULLY get some stickers uploaded. Sound off in the comments which pieces you'd like to be stickers. I have a few ideas myself, but I always want to know what you'd prefer as options!
I'll be back with a "proper" new piece soon enough, but for now, I need some rest.
