We talk: how it appears Lakewood "shooter" Genesse Moreno's in-laws were Lakewood congregants; how her father-in-law worked for Houston Lighting & Power on the Texas Nuclear Project (👀) & how Rabbi Carranza's 1st husband died prematurely at the age of 39; Palestinian legends of a Fountain of Youth at Al-Jura, where Job lived; Zion Oil & Gas, the evangelical oil exploration outfit that predates on Christian investors; their general counsel & VP Philip Mandelker, who helped to negotiate fossil fuel prod deals w/ Egypt for Israel's Ministry of Finance following the Yom Kippur War; his history of scripturally-inspired prospecting & oil divining in the Holy Land; sentient oil; the Zoroastrian demon of decay Druj; Jed Bickman's essay on Sentient Oil in Apocalypse Confidential; a wonderment whether sentient oil could be the lifeblood of the downgrade Canaanite deity Leviathan, the animistic monster, who God invokes in Job; the Arab Oil Embargo; Mandelker's references to Osteen backer, Houston petrol-engineer Andrew SoRelle Jr. & Texan wildcatter Hayseed Stephens in his essay for Zion Oil, both who dug bibliomancy-guided wells in Israel; various verses in Ch 41 of the Book of Job regarding Leviathan that are highly evocative of fossil fuels, oil exploration, & drilling; Leviathan's eschatological import in the Book of Revelation; the major revelation that Andrew SoRelle Jr., this former WWII airman & Houston oilman, was John Osteen's introduction to Demos Shakarian's Full Gospel Businessmen's Fellowship Int'l & possibly William Branham, by extension, hinting at how FGBMFI & the Family serve as these shadowy nexuses whereby Christian capitalists can grow their power + influence along evangelical, profit motive, & imperial lines unencumbered; another major revelation near the end of the sermon concerns the discovery of the Leviathan gas field off the coast of Israel b/w it & Cyprus; the mind-boggling reality that Houston exploration firm Noble Energy discovered the gas deposits in conjunction w/ two tiny Israeli companies & initially operated the offshore platforms before their acquisition by Chevron, the American co. who cont's to own the largest operating stake; we talk how the natural gas that's getting piped form Leviathan to Israel, Egypt, Russia, etc. is dramatically reshaping int'l relations, relieving Israel of its energy dependence, & even gave rise to a dispute b/w Israel & Lebanon that threatened the outbreak of violence; Bibi's remarks about how this discovery would power Israel for generations; the implications of this as far as Biden's recent announcement regarding a temporary Navy port off the coast of Gaza (could this have anything to do w/ protecting this & other gas & oil reserve assets in the Mediterranean?); and how this apocalyptically-named, sentient gas field stretches its tentacles from Israel to Houston; & we close by examining 2 sources re SoRelle's Holy Land prospecting.
