International ADHD in the Park Day is THIS SATURDAY!!!

October is ADHD Awareness Month!
And what better way to kick it off than with this year's International ADHD in the Park day - created by Suzie Q, a member of the ADHD community!
It occurs the first Saturday in October - which for this year means THIS SATURDAY, October 4th!
--- WANT TO PARTICIPATE?
- Find an ADHD book or magazine
(Or wear an ADHD hat or ADHD pin or whatever else ADHD branded stuff you feel comfortable wearing!)
- Find a park around noon YOUR time!
(Don't feel safe going to your local park? That's okay, your backyard, or a virtual park works too!)
--- OKAY I HAVE THESE THINGS. WHAT DO I DO NOW?
Sit in the park and enjoy your ADHD book/magazine. Or enjoy walking your dog wearing a hat with ADHD on it, or sitting on a bench knitting while wearing a cute lil ADHD pin.
Raining? Bring up a virtual park or garden on your TV, laptop, or phone!
Don't feel safe going to the local park? If you have one, go into your backyard! Or the virtual option works here too! :)

Take pictures! And if you feel comfortable, share them on social media using the hashtag #ADHDinthePark
Not only does this help normalize seeing ADHD out in the world, but it also introduce you to local brains - or even the international brains that you connect with through the hashtag! Or, at the very least, barring y'know... incliment weather... you get to see some sun. <3
