Map Set 25 Gold (Inquisitors' Hunt and Old Fisherman's Cottage)
🕑 Added 2022-07-25 06:10:34 +0000 UTCHere's our newest map set with two new maps!
The first is Inquisitors' Hunt (65x30), a desert town map with an incoming spaceship. Included is a version with a dragon's shadow instead of a spaceship and fantasy setting dressing.
Encounter Ideas:
- Droid Debugging - Robots within the town limits have malfunctioned and started acting erratically; some even turning violent towards the townsfolk. Try to disable the droids if possible or destroy them if necessary.
- Desperate Quarry - A refugee asks the party to hide them from the incoming inquisitors. The party must try to misdirect the hunters, fight them, or maybe just turn the refugee in for a reward.
- Dragon Tribute - The incoming dragon demands tribute from the townsfolk, but it's more than they can afford. They offer their collection as payment to slay the dragon or convince it to leave them alone.
The second map is Old Fisherman's Cottage (30x40), a small house nestled behind the tree-line near a meandering river. There's a boat next the to the pier where the old fisherman likes to fish. A small graveyard to the south is decorated with some wilting flowers.
Encounter Ideas:
- Night Haunts - The old man that lives here is haunted nightly by the ghosts of his family. He needs the help of adventurers to lay them to rest.
- Favorite Lure - A huge fish broke the fisherman's line one day and swam off with his prized lure. He'll pay anything to get it back.
- A Veteran's Prize - Before he was a fisherman the old man was a great warrior, but now that his family is gone he has nobody to pass on his old armor and weapons to. He longs to find a champion worthy of his possessions. Perhaps a duel or a demonstration of great heroism would be sufficient.
