it's crazy to think that ARK Survival Evolved is no longer even live - when I was finding the footage for the first dino we tamed, it was a whole different HUD and vibe... a simpler time. the titanboa came on the raft in the cave and it was the scariest thing ever lol
i think nowadays games a truly their best in their infancy or early days; before a meta is established; before the sweat has time to manifest and suck every ounce of fun out of games (Rust, ARK, Fortnite, ETC).
I have various other ARK stuff to compile now plus some old ARK classiques

Hey I got the ark tier membership but it says playlists like genisis 2 are locked and only let me watch 2 episodes. Does anyone know anything I can do or am I just missing something

yeah when people didn't have their mind's unlocked to everything in the game. since Fortnite/Ninja/Covid, there are SO many more people tryna make a career out of gaming. And being the best or really good at a competitive game can potentially make you money (even though 99% of people won't), so there are so many more people trying as hard as they possibly can all the time. There's way less memes. Everything is about ego. People unlocking the Darkmatter skin within a week in the latest CoD (which is a cashcow that has been bad for a decade cos new terrible concepts are forced out each year), is a prime example of that. It is what it is, but i miss the newbs. I miss when you could get on any game and be reasonable or do well pretty quickly. Now you come in against people who have dedicated their lives to said game. I think if i start playing games again regularly then i'd try new games as they came out. I spose that's why Conan and games like that were so fun off release.
